The Miramare is situated in the prime position - right on the beach and yet only 2 mins walk from the town centre. The hotel is very satisfactory, has a good restaurant and is near to other bars and restaurants if you want a change. Recommended. more

I found the Miramare to be charming and a great bargain for the area. We wanted to stay in Portofino but could not find an affordable hotel. Our travel agent recommended the Miramare and we were delighted with her suggestion. We took the ferry to Portofino and was greatly relieved to go back to Sestri - it's so much more... more

Not sure why the previous "adivsor" hated the Miramare. I pretty much enjoy my stay and I will go back. Ok, the room are basic but I hadn't any padlock and the sea view was breathtaking. My wife & I stayed in the Miramare hotel in Sestri Levante. The town is very busy, frequented mainly by Italian's on holiday, so Englifh sometime was a bit difficult.
