This hotel was really great. The service was good and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and breakfast was really good. The hotel has a good location, about five minutes walk to the old town and it is just a few meters from the beach. The hotel is close to the railway station so it was easy... More

Hotels run by happy owner are usually great experiences and Hotel Genova is no exception. You can tell they take pride in having a high standard. Everything works and in a great position. We travelled down to Cinque Terre with an easy train ride. We went to the furthest town Riomaggiore which is 4 euros. Then took the boat for... More

We agree with past posts about this being a very clean and modern hotel. The breakfast was ample and they provided for me being a coeliac. A previous post said to turn left when you come out of the train station. We did this and walked in the opposite direction. You turn right not left and follow the lane which... More

We stayed at Hotel Genova last week for 4 nights. Overall very good, clean, and a good location to explore beautiful Sestri and the surrounding areas. Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The room was a little on the small size. Breakfast was reasonable, the croissants are amazing! Perhaps a little overpriced, but I'm aware that other hotels... More

Very good family run hotel. Nice clean spacious room. Good bathroom and balcony. Very helpful reception. Recommended. Close to train station and main beach but not so close to lovely Bay of Silence beach.

A friend and I recently returned from a four-day stay at the Hotel Genova, and it fit our needs perfectly…on several levels. Firstly, location: The hotel is situated just 225 meters from the Sestri Levante train station, and the walk is completely flat…no hills, no steps. Not problem at all with our baggage after disembarking in Civitavecchia after a two-week... More

Friendly welcome and efficient check in. The whole experience was enjoyable. Nice standard room: small but very nice and clean. Great wi fi signal. The locations of the hotel is close to all public transportations! Value for money: Sestri Levante is very expensive!

The word accommodating isn't always associated with ones accommodations but in this case it's the perfect word. The people at the front desk couldn't have been nicer, to the point of bringing us breakfast, including coffee in a thermos (which stayed pretty hot) and sandwiches for our train ride the night before on our last day since we had to... From Stefano's email advice beforehand on how to travel to the hotel from Genoa airport, to the last moment when the whole family shook our hands in farewell, we loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast buffet was excellent, rooms were so clean they set standards for other hotels and there was always good advice on the area and activities. They... More

Bright, airy, lovely, very comfortable room. Air conditioner was extremely quiet the few times we used it. Impeccably clean hotel. We had asked for a quiet room and were given one. Breakfasts had a delicious and varied selection of food. WiFi worked beautifully, even up on the top floor. Only a few minutes walk to the train station, beach, and... More
