We used this hotel as a base for traveling to Cinque Terre. The owner and his family went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. There is a well furnished indoor lounge on the 3rd floor and a terrace which gave a good view, on the top floor. Breakfast was brilliant!

There's not much else we can add to the many reviews already left for this pleasant hotel. It is definitely convenient to the train station, water front and many good restaurants. We drove into Sestri Levanti and the underground parking facility was actually several blocks from the hotel, however the owners were very good about letting us park directly in... More

Minutes from the train station, easy flat walk to the hotel, and only meters from the sea! Breakfast was perfect assortment/variety. Veranda on the rooftop was perfect for taking in the view all around the hotel and great for meeting new people from different areas of the world. Most of the time we went up there, however, it was just... More

Loved this place. Great location: 2 min walk to the beautiful beach; less then 20 minutes to Bay of Silence, historic part of town, & tons of restaurants; 4 min walk to train station if you're going to Cinque Terre. The breakfast was PERFECT - coffee, fruit, pastries, bread, etc. The beds were comfortable & the entire place was spotless.... More

My wife and I have had many memorable stays in Italy but our 5 days at Hotel Genova has been the best by far.It is probably the cleanest establishment we have ever visited (and I include hospitals). The service is friendly ,efficient and always ready with helpful advice. This hotel was really great. The service was good and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean and breakfast was really good. The hotel has a good location, about five minutes walk to the old town and it is just a few meters from the beach. The hotel is close to the railway station so it was easy... More

Hotels run by happy owner are usually great experiences and Hotel Genova is no exception. You can tell they take pride in having a high standard. Everything works and in a great position. We travelled down to Cinque Terre with an easy train ride. We went to the furthest town Riomaggiore which is 4 euros. Then took the boat for... More

We agree with past posts about this being a very clean and modern hotel. The breakfast was ample and they provided for me being a coeliac. A previous post said to turn left when you come out of the train station. We did this and walked in the opposite direction. You turn right not left and follow the lane which... More

We stayed at Hotel Genova last week for 4 nights. Overall very good, clean, and a good location to explore beautiful Sestri and the surrounding areas. Bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The room was a little on the small size. Breakfast was reasonable, the croissants are amazing! Perhaps a little overpriced, but I'm aware that other hotels... More

Very good family run hotel. Nice clean spacious room. Good bathroom and balcony. Very helpful reception. Recommended. Close to train station and main beach but not so close to lovely Bay of Silence beach.
