I would stay again. The hotel does need a bit of care but it does add to the character . Our room was very roomy, comfortable and charming. The property is beautiful to walk around. Getting a tour bus into driveway was fun to watch. Breakfast buffet not so good. We walked a few blocks a and had a fun... More

I have stayed in many hotels over the years as required by my job but this tops it as the worst hotel Iv ever stayed in the staff were rude and ignorant the restaurant staff made me wait outside the restaurant one evening until they were ready to seat me needless to say I left and ate elsewhere, when I... I stayed here two nights on a business trip. It was nice to get out in the country where it was quiet. The rooms were plain but clean and nice. The staff was very friendly as well. It was nice to walk around the grounds. I had dinner at the restaurant...the food was very good. I plan to stay again... More

This was my favourite 2 night stay on a tour with my 5yr old daughter, the gardens were wonderful, and the pool area was great with a big shallow end and little cubby house for the kids to play in. There was a bar in the garden area next to the pool and lots of lounges to relax on. The... More

We arrived in the evening and our initial impression was elegance all round. We were first placed in room 108, this was lovely but small, although had a large wardrobe it had no chest of drawers or no storage place at all. I did not want to live out of a suitcase all week so asked if they could supply... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as booked by a well known tour operator. The hotel is set in an old chateau with a very nice garden. The staff are pleasant. But the room need some upgrading. Hotel room is quite spacious with two single beds put together side by side as a king bed. There is an old... More

Beautiful property. Nice rooms and wireless internet. Breakfast was good. Getting a taxi can be a challenge so make sure to reserve ahead. Meeting room was excellent. Staff were extremely customer focused and made our stay here wonderful. Would stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon on a Trafalgar tour (Jewels of Italy) for 2 nights. The hotel itself is tucked away about 20 minutes from Florence in a quiet neighborhood. As we pulled in we loved the gardens and the rustic Tuscany feel of the hotel. It did not feel like we were in a big... More

We stayed here 2 nights in June 2014 as part of a tour party. The ground floor room we stayed in was a loft style with queen bed in the loft and a single bed down stairs. The bathroom was good - no bath tub, the shower sliding doors were somewhat awkward to open and close as the doors on... More

Yes, the garden is beautiful with nice trees but the rooms have few issues: the tv does not work properly because it has a sky decoder but without the sky channel the shower is with no base so you are at risk of flooding Moreover the pool need to be a bit better maintained (the cypresses needles are nice but...
