We arrived in the evening and our initial impression was elegance all round. We were first placed in room 108, this was lovely but small, although had a large wardrobe it had no chest of drawers or no storage place at all. I did not want to live out of a suitcase all week so asked if they could supply... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel as booked by a well known tour operator. The hotel is set in an old chateau with a very nice garden. The staff are pleasant. But the room need some upgrading. Hotel room is quite spacious with two single beds put together side by side as a king bed. There is an old... More

Beautiful property. Nice rooms and wireless internet. Breakfast was good. Getting a taxi can be a challenge so make sure to reserve ahead. Meeting room was excellent. Staff were extremely customer focused and made our stay here wonderful. Would stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon on a Trafalgar tour (Jewels of Italy) for 2 nights. The hotel itself is tucked away about 20 minutes from Florence in a quiet neighborhood. As we pulled in we loved the gardens and the rustic Tuscany feel of the hotel. It did not feel like we were in a big... More

We stayed here 2 nights in June 2014 as part of a tour party. The ground floor room we stayed in was a loft style with queen bed in the loft and a single bed down stairs. The bathroom was good - no bath tub, the shower sliding doors were somewhat awkward to open and close as the doors on... More

Yes, the garden is beautiful with nice trees but the rooms have few issues: the tv does not work properly because it has a sky decoder but without the sky channel the shower is with no base so you are at risk of flooding Moreover the pool need to be a bit better maintained (the cypresses needles are nice but... Very rustic, quaint hotel. Located on a beautiful property surrounded by trees, flowers, bushes... very nice. Smelled a little musty. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The shower we had was a stand up shower. Would prefer a tub. We couldnt get the TV to work at all. Our tour group was attacked overnight by what we... More

Tour group stayed here for two nights. BEAUTIFUL grounds surround the hotel. Courteous check-in and clean rooms. There were three in my party and our room had a loft--twin bed below and queen bed up in loft. Keep shower curtain inside bathtub--water comes out on floor during shower if you are not careful. Air conditioning did not work but a... More

I just loved the atmosphere of the hotel and the grounds. As we had a car the situation suited us very well (the local town is within walking distance and worth a look). They put us in a massive room which was very clean and comfortable. Only bad point was that the room was right beside Reception, so noisy and... More

This hotel is right out of the 1930's and may have had a 4star rating then but not now. The staff were friendly and accomidating, we switched rooms because the one they gave us was dark, damp and had 2 toddler sized beds we could push together. WiFi in the rooms was spotty even in the main building, none in... More
