This was one of the better hotels as part of a Cosmos escorted tour. The rooms / ensuite were well set up and quite comfortable. The included breakfasts were very good too. The hotel is a fair way out of Florence but we were able to work out using the buses to get around, and felt quite safe heading back... more

This was a disgrace, the shower mouldy, the restaurant was the most cynical and vile rubbish. there is NOTHING close by, it is a dump, they even charge 2€ for a tiny bottle of water and refuse to let you use the fountain - as it is for Breakfast only. all the other guests who ate here were complaining about... more

We stopped at the Ibis Firenze Nord Aeroporto for 2 nights and were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is modern and clean with good sized rooms and bathrooms. There is free outdoor parking and underground parking for a small fee. The breakfast was great value for money and we also used the restaurant in the evening (pasta or... more

This hotel is very close to the Airport, but not close to much of anything else. Two of us checked in late in October for a nearby business meeting. The rooms were nice, clean, well lit, and a bit larger than normal for Europe. There is a minimal restaurant in the hotel, but finding another place to dine nearby is... more

We decided to drop by the Ibis in the evening, as we were on a long road trip. Classic Ibis Hotel, the bathroom was very clean and felt brand new. The furniture was also nice. THe bed mattress was very soft for my taste though, but that is a personal thing. The hotel has an indoor parking lot (8 euros/night).... more

The hotel is not easy to find. As it is situated near several highways and cloverleaf junctions, one loses one's sense of direction, and even the signs let one down at one point. But once one gets there, one is rewarded by a friendly reception and a spacious room in a magnificent, modern building. Of course the price tag is... more

I stayed at 20-21May 2006 without breakfast. Plus: Good room, clean room, cheerful staff. Free car parking outside of Hotel. Minus: Very hard to find from motorway. So try to have very detailed map. If you are with car and can find it, hotel is comfortable. You can go to city center by car and make free parking at suburbs... more

We booked this ibis for a one night stay, after reading the previous review. We were not disappointed. It suits the traveller with a car as it is close to the main road intersections and has car parking. It is in an industrial/commercial area as is typical of ibis locations. Novotel is right beside it. We arrived late in the... more

Approaching Florence from Pisa on the A11 motorway the Firenze Nord Ibis hotel is easily seen on the right hand side just before the airport on the left. A six storey building that is very much a state of the art Ibis hotel. Everything you could want for a stopover or a short stay and at a budget price. Clean,... more
