Hotel Rainer is located at the very end of Sexten, close to the Austrian border. They have direct access to the vast skiing area, which makes skiing very convenient, as the slopes are just meters away from the dressing room. The hotel consists of different buildings. So the rooms are a bit different. They aren't special, but nicely furnished and... More

My wife and I stayed here for the second week of our hiking holiday in Moos. This is a strikingly modern building on the edge of a meadow overlooking the valley and the mountains. The apartment is light and ultra-modern with clever architectural solutions. We were on the top floor and loved the light that flooded in through the balcony.... More

Thank you so much for your kindness. We are glad that you spent a good time here in Sexten. I appreciate a lot all your precious pieces of advice (f.e. the scissors). It could be so enourmously easier and much more efficient, if all our guests would tell us about their particular needs during their stay and not afterwards. We... More

We spent 5 days in this great resort. Everything is thought if with the kids in mind. The resort has an amazing playground area " kinderland" which my two kids (4y.o. girl and a 5y.o. boy) loved, as well as the swimming pool area. And while the kids were playing in the kids pool, my husband and I spent our... More

Extremely nice people. With ski in/ski out kids ski school on site and a relaxed approach to children, this is the perfect dolomiti family ski hotel. However please note that you had better like kids. there are a lot and they are loud. we do have loud kids so we fitted right in :-0 we stayed in the residences which... More

We just arrived home from a wonderful week at the family resort rainer, we had a great experience in this hotel in every sense... children SKI COURSE: arranged by the hotel took our daughter at 10:00am until 12:30 then there was the possibility of leaving her in the kids club that also took them outside in the afternoon until 18:00... The hotel is nice, its wellness is even beautiful. The problems we experienced (and in our view useless problems) related to the allover hospitality of the owner´s family. Not all adults need the treatment of a child (opening hours of the bar without disturbing anyone, unreasonable comments and requests to the clients).

This is a lovely property- very friendly owners & staff, very clean & great location. The food & spa services are also very good. However, unless you are traveling with children or want to be surrounded by adorable (& usually quite vocal) children, you may want to consider other accommodations. In other words, this is not an ideal destination for... More

During the Christmas holidays, we spent a week in the Koenigswarte apartments and had our meals in the main Rainer hotel. The lodging is modern and clean--perfect for our family of four. It had a room with bunk beds, a king bed in the bedroom and also a pullout sofa. Breathtakingly beautiful views of the Dolomites and ski runs through the... More

It was the first time we visited this area and thanks to the warm hospitality and great service and the most wonderful view out of our window, we had a great time.
