We stayed at the Portillo for two nights. The hotel is very modern and built up with high quality products. The hotel is located a little bit out of town. The free bus shuttle brings you every morning to the ski lifts. We did not have dinner at the restaurant, but the menu looked very nice. I can highly recommend... More

We stayed in this fabulous hotel for 3 nights in the end of august. And what a wonderful decision it came out to be. It is a 4 star hotel but amenities and facilities wise it should be rated as 5 star. The staff is amazing. Always welcoming and ready to help. Got to enjoy free sunday drinks and snacks(courtesy... First visit to this hotel and very impressed, great location just a 2 minute walk to the main square, so nice and quiet at night. Hotel has undergone a revamp, the lobby, bar area is lovely, plenty of free car parking. Its a family run hotel, very welcoming and they take a great pride in ensuring the hotel looks its... More

This family run hotel has now the set the standard for my future hotel experiences,in terms of customer service, quality, value for money and all round customer experience. I stayed with 4 friends (3 adults and a child.) for a week of skiing in March. Throughout our stay we continuously remarked at how wonderfully accommodating the entire staff & family... More

It is true what most people feel about holiday venues, "Try something new". When it comes to this most stylish and welcoming "home", this thought fails to apply. We returned twice during the past winter months, notwithstanding numerous visits in previous years. Are we bored or is it time for a change? - not in the slightest. As soon the... More

We stayed at the hotel between 3-15 Jan 2015. We are keen skiers and travel to the Alps twice a year and have stayed in many hotels over the years. This was our first stay at the Portillo, but I have to say that we are truly impressed and would definitely go back there, should we decide to go to... More

We have been coming to the Portillo for several years as it is just like 'home from home'. We are always remembered and welcomed with open arms by the amazing family Senoner who look after our every need. The newly styled bar and reception areas are modern but still retain the charm and warmth of this great family run hotel.... More

We stayed at the hotel Portillo over Christmas as a family of 4. Although a 4 star, the service and food was 7 star. The food should be classed with a Michelin star! An amazing place in a beautiful valley for skiing. The hotel staff are handpicked by the family who run the hotel and all were so happy to... More

I have been meaning to pen this note for sometime. We were 12 guys traveling from Canada for our annual ski trip. We had planned on being in Austria, but as a result of limited snow made a last minute change to Val Gardena. We have all traveled extensively on ski trips in the past. Hands down this was the... Of course not Carlo only, for sure his whole family and their good trained team make this hotel so enjoyable. But I believe that Carlos hard training and success in skiing in youth was a keystone for future success in business. Perfect personal service but never intrusive in conjunction with a refurbish house and a tasteful food made our stay... More
