Beautiful location in the Italian Dolomites in the centre of the village Selva but without traffic noise. It's been a long time since we've stayed in a hotel were everything was excellent. The exquisite Italian food, every evening served by most friendly staff, took our breath away. Breakfast with fresh baked bread, fresh fruit, delicious cheeses, ham, warm dishes, home-made... more

Returned to Acireale, Sicily yesterday after a 8 day/7 night vacation in Selva di Val Gardena at the Hotel Acadia with my wife and daughter as well as my dad who came over to meet us from the USA after a business trip to England. I had started to think about and plan an active yet relaxing (yes, a vacation... more

2nd year in a row. Hotel always clean and tidy. Receptionists, barstaff and cleaners all very polite and helpfull. Ideal spot for nursery slopes and button lifts to get on to Sellaronda. Great champagne bar, but a bit expensive with the euro exchange rate as it is. more

Having decided to combine our wedding with a winter holiday, we couldn't find a better place to stay, and to party, than the Acadia. The staff with waiter Roman and Chef Norbert, are incredibly helpful, the rooms are charming, the banqueting facilities ideal for eating, drinking, dancing and generally having a great time and the location near to the Sella... more

This hotel is well situated in a quiet street not far from the centre of town. The room we stayed in was a double on the 3rd floor with a balcony and view to the adjacent ski slope. Room and facilities were spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. Reception staff very friendly and always willing to help.... more

The Hotel Acadia is an excellent place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food phenomenal and the location ideal. Be sure to take all your walking/hiking kit with you and some warm clothes, the average daytime temperature whilst we were there was about 13 C (mid - late August) during the day and quite a bit colder... more

We stayed here for a week in July during our honeymoon. We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and its wonderful staff. We booked suite sissi which was wonderful...jacuzzi bath and amazing shower. The food is fantastic and a varied menu changes every day for 3 weeks and be sure to ask Roman for his wine recommendations as he... more

Have just returned to London after a short break at the Acadia. The hotel thoroughly deserves its number one status in Selva. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and the staff welcoming, warm and friendly. Our room, although the most economical, was delightful and the shower room, although small, was excellent. As for the cuisine - it is to... more

We spent only three days in this wonderful hotel and this is the only bad thing that we can do! All was perfect, the frendly and helpful staff, the gorgeus room, the perfect location. The breakfast and the restaurant was simply FIRST CLASS. We definitely come in Hotel Acadia as soon as possible and recomend it at all our friends. more

Enjoyed a great fortnight's holiday at the Hotel Acadia in July 2004. The friendly Prinoth family run the Acadia to a very high standard. Room very comfortable, staff very friendly and most efficient. Food is excellent. Walks in the area are highly recommended, don't forget to purchase a Val Gardena Card more
