I stayed at the Astor with my family from the 26 December 2012 - 6 January 2013 and it was truly amazing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food outstanding (literally could not stop eating) and the rooms comfortable and spacious. It was a quick walk to the closest ski lift. The skiing in Selva is unbelievable and... More

Having stayed in Selva for the past 8 years our party of 9 were disappointed to find we had been double booked for half term week. After a couple of hours in the tourist office The hotel Astor had rooms for the first couple of days, so off we went blind. The staff were great, the location for the slopes/lifts... More

We stayed at Astor for one week in February 2012. We were a group of 4 families travelling together. This was our third time in the Dolomites and second time in Selva Val Gardena. The hotel is centrally located. Closest lift is the Dantercepies (just a minute's walk), a longer walk to Ciampinoi (five minutes). Dantercepies can be very crowdy... More

This family owned hotel is a great place to stay. it is immaculately kept and well positioned. I had parma ham for breakfast every morning! We booked dinner and breakfast. There is a fantastic spar close by with a great deli section, fresh fruit, wine etc that you can use for lunch. Dinners were several courses and most enjoyable. The... More

Had a week here in January skiing. The best kept and most comfortable hotel we've stayed in in Italy. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beds very comfortable. The views down the valley from the rooms are fabulous. The food is excellent, really a cut above lots of the half-board food we've had in the past, well cooked and thoughtfully... More

Hotel Astor is a nice hotel in a great location. My wife and I stayed here for five nights in December 2011 for our honeymoon. The room we had was spacious, had a great view of the village. The hotel is close to ski lifts (which take you clockwise around the sellaronda circuit), a supermarket (1 min walk), and it's... More

We stayed at the Astor hotel for a week on a skiing vacation. The lifts are about 200 m. from the hotel. The family running the hotel is friendly and helpful. Our room was just the right size for us, clean and pretty. The food was very good and the ambiance in the restaurant was very pleasant. There's a supermarket... More
