The place was very nice and clean. The one downside was you had to take a train or a bus into Sorrento even though it implies that it is actually right in Sorrento. They did have a great breakfast and were very helpful people. more

This reformed convent is really nicely located. Its about 15-20 min walk to Sorrento center (or by bus 4 mins!). They have some parking facilities inside, and very close to the hotel there is lots of parking. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it is clean, spacious, free internet access (either wireless or use the 2 guest computers)... more
The hostel is situated in a really nice building ( a former convent) It is super clean, and with very comfy bedrooms. Good breakfast too. The only problem with it is its location: on one side it is great because so close to the sea BUT it is a solid 20 minutes walk to Sorrento if you want to get... more
A decent little hotel with friendly staff. A total nightmare to find after dark...... Breakfast was an excellent continental style affair. Rooms were comfortable, the hotel was a little echoey but was very quiet when we stayed. Not all rooms are en-suite, so select that option when booking if wanted. We hired a car - big mistake; use the trains... more
We had a great time in Sorrento and the Porto Salvo added to the experience. The rooms were clean, neat and air conditioned. Comfortable beds and sheets and pillows. The showers had very good water pressure. Breakfast was basic but more than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to shopping in Sorrento ( 20 min walk... more
I booked this hotel based on the reviews, as well as the price. The room I had was large and quiet and had a small side view of Sorrento Bay. Other than that, it was pretty basic, but adequate. I wouldn't use the word charming though. The free computers in the lobby were a nice touch and wifi as well,... more
I stayed at Porto Salvo with my boyfriend last week. We had a little trouble finding it in the first place (turn left out of Sant'Agnello station to find the road described on the hotel's directions!). We found the staff incredibly willing to help. The guy on the front desk when we arrived (didn't catch his name, sorry!), provided us... more
If you want to try something a little different, this is the place to come - a converted Cappucin Monastery retaining many of the original internal and external architectural features, right on the edge of the Bay of Naples. It feels peaceful as soon as you enter the reception area (when you can find it - we walked right around... more
We decided on the Domus Porto Salvo based on reviews from Trip Advisor and the fact we wanted to be outside but handy to Sorrento. Booked for 4 nights to use as our base for exploring Pompei, the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. Caught the train down from Naples and after hopping off at Sant Agnello, we were guided to the... more
We visited this little place after reading positive reviews about it on Trip Advisor. We felt that the reviews were really accurate and we were not disappointed when we arrived. In a nutshell, it has charm, authenticity, character and a local friendly feel that you simply don't get in a hotel. This was definitely a place for independent travellers who... more
