We were pleasently suprised following our late booking by the impressive drive and fountain at the entrance and were able to access our room at 1200 noon following a early morning flight. The complimentry chilled bottle of champagne was a refreshhing start to our hols. Our room was a little small, and the hotel a little dated but it was... more

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights. The reception area and staff are lovely. Breakfast was a fairly typical european buffet with cereals, bread, rolls, pastries, cheese, cold meat, fruit and boiled eggs with bacon, hot dog type sausages and scrambled egg. We didn't eat in the hotel except for breakfast and chose instead eat outside for lunch or... more

We visited this hotel in the first week of june 2009. The most important thing is that it is situated in a large garden which means you are away from a very noisy main road. The hotel is situated about 20 minutes walk from sorrento centre, however, the hotel does provide a shuttle bus service which was very punctual. The... more

This is a nice hotel in pretty gardens. Cleanliness - Excellent - room cleaned perfectly each day, fresh bedlinen twice weekly, fresh towels daily. Pool - wonderful, lots of beds and pool towels free. Restaurant - Cool clean and very good staff Food - Quite good, good selection each evening and nicely presented. Salad bar and puds on a buffet... more

After reading some of the reviews my family (well, actually me, as I'm the one that booked and researched the hotel) were slightly apprehensive. A quick word of warning to anyone travelling First Choice/Thomson. On arrival at Naples airport you will have to walk from the arrivals terminal along a blue line, to the now closed departure terminal. This was... more

We went on a last minute holiday , never visited Italy before . The Hotel was excellent value for money , the building was well kept a few bits here and there needed a touch up but on the whole the Hotel was spot on. We ate every night in the Restaurant and the food was varied and tasty and... more

This is an exceptionally good value for money hotel. The rooms are large and very clean - we loved the champagne on arrival, a lovely touch and just what we needed after a long journey. It is easy to get to the train station from here which takes you to all the sites very cheapy - we visited Pompeii for... more

The property was very outdated. Clean but dark and with a need of some maintainence and refreshing. Definitely not a 4 star. Breakfast not great either, everyday the same, no fresh orange juice and little food choices. Don't even think of trying coffee there! Pool area again, with a need of modernisation. Apart from the above, we liked the location,... more

We stayed 2 nights at the parco del sole and we would have loved to have spent all 7 nights there. My parents stayed the Grand Hotel Flora in Sorrento and visited us at the Parco del Sole and they wished they had booked our hotel. We stayed in 2 adjacent double rooms -with a small balcony looking out towards... more

The only downside to this place is that it is about a 15-20 min walk from Sorrento. Aside from this, it seems as though this hotel is a world away from the hustle and bustle of central Sorrento. It's a most welcome break from what goes on outside. A truly unique setting amonst some lush gardens, the pool is large,... more
