We have just got back from the Majestic Palace and had a great stay, great people, great hotel, great weather and the food was fantastic. The hotel and all the staff could not do enough for us and Sorrento is a fantastic place to stay and a base to explore the Neapolitan Riviera and Amalfi coast. The hotel is a... More

We stayed at the Majestic Palace during the last week of the season (24 - 31 October 14). The hotel is beautifully presented with real Italian charm and very well maintained. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the lemon trees in the garden. We were on the first floor near the lift but we were not troubled... More

Booked this hotel on other travellers recommendations. Although I say more like three star than four star we were not disappointed as the hotel public areas were spotless. We had standard rooms which were a bit tired and could do with a bit of tlc! Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food in the restaurant was... More

I stayed here in October 2014, as a part of a lovely tour group. Being single I paid an extra $500 supplement as a single and was extremely disappointed to be assigned a basement room (so did the other singles). Hotel itself is very nice. My room was dark, smelled musty and had a moldy shower curtain. Oh, and two... More

Desserts to die for so scrummy. Beautiful decor throughout and our room on floor 5 was awesome. Floors under level 3 will experience some lift noise... More

We stayed here in September 2014 for two weeks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Caught the local train to Pompei and Herculaneum and bus trip along the Amalfi Coast to Amalfi and Positano - the better of the two places. Took a trip to Capril as well. Hotel pool was good and the garden was lovely to relax in. The... More

Just returned from a lovely week at the Magestic Palace Hotel, through Thomsons. We had a balcony room on the 3rd floor overlooking the gardens, with lovely distant sea views, which to me was the best side, as it was quiet, and very sunny in the afternoons. We enjoyed sitting there early evening with a bottle of Peroni, watching the... More

Just returned from a weeks holiday at Majestic Palace. We were disappointed with our first room 9 which was very dark. We were moved to room 20 which was better. Overall very happy with the hotel and food & staff were excellent. We found the train service extremely reliable and reasonable and used it a couple of times, first to... More

We had a room overlooking the garden at the back which was fine. Pool was clean, and plenty of sunbeds etc., We stayed half board, so on one or more occasions we had... More

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Majestic Palace. It was absolutely fantastic. The hotel/staff/food The hotel is wonderful. As soon as we arrived outside I knew that we had made the right decision. The pool area was great and we found there to be plenty of sunbeds (though, we weren’t travelling in peak... More
