To begin with we are a family that includes young children and were put in rooms directly above the bar area. What were they thinking?? I found the staff attentive and were willing to help, the pool area was small but acceptable, the rooms were a good size and always kept very clean. Jack the night barman was a credit to the hotel but if you want him to come even more out of his shell buy him a drink he is a great laugh.... more

Having read the previous reviews I would have some reservations about wholeheartedly endorsing the Majestic. It was a comfortable hotel about 20-30 minutes walk from Sorrento. Firstly I have to admit to not knowing the criteria for how a hotel is judged and given its stars. This hotel for instance is rated at least in the brochure I saw as 4s. Now I presumed that the “s” means superior and not “sub” and if it does mean, “sub” then I think that is probably more accurate.... more

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated to happy smiling faces helpfull staff clean decent sized rooms and good food .The hotel is in a quiet area but close enough to local transport links or if you prefer a half an hours walk into town.An absolutely relaxed fortnight which led to booking again for next year... more
