I've stayed in the seven star burj al Arab and many other top hotels worldwide. I can honestly say that I did not enjoy them as much as the cocumella. From the moment you arrive you can't help be drawn into that relaxed Italian vibe that this hotel exudes. The ambiance and the decor is something that new hotels cannot... More

We have both travelled extensively all over the World and think this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel is beautiful in every way with the most stunning gardens and beautiful scenery. The views are incredible. The whole place oozes elegance and charm. The staff here are wonderful. So helpful and friendly. Literally nothing is too... More

We've stayed at Cocumella for 7 nights, so we've pretty much had "the experience". The hotel arranged for our airport transfer at a price of 220€, the driver didn't speak a word of English. The concierge/manager was not as helpful as the others have stated, we've asked about a tour of Capri on Vera (their vintage boat) however the concierge... More

We looked at the top hotels in/around the Amalfi area and chose Cocumella sight unseen and based on the good Trip Advisor reviews. Boy, are we glad we chose this hotel. We found that most of the hotels around the coast were very cramped. The Cocumella has large and beautiful grounds, fantastic views of Naples bay and great bedrooms and... More

So the first thing to say is that this is a lovely hotel. Formerly a Jesuit college it oozes style and charm with spectacular views across the bay, and you just need to check out the other reviews to see how consistent the favourable responses are. The concierges are especially worth a mention as they couldn't have been more friendly... More

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. It is beautiful . Staff are excellent. Food is amazing. Good position - just a 15 minute easy walk to Sorrento. When our taxi was late to collect us , Michael, the receptionist, took us to the station. Can you get a more personal service than that.

This is an upmarket but unstuffy hotel about 15 to 20 minutes walk from the centre of Sorrento in a quiet location with fabulous grounds, swimming pool, lift to a small swimming and sunbathing area on the beach and individually designed and decorated rooms. It is not a budget choice but it is relaxed with a concierge and staff who... More
