The Residenza is a beautifully restored hotel in the centre of Sansepolcro. There is free parking a short walk away. It's in the heart of town and there are numerous fantastic restaurants a very short walk away. The staff are very helpful. Most visitors are Italian - breakfast was lovely but clearly Italian. My husband who insisted on having the... More

A delightful and well organized Hotel with an excellent service and fantastic functional infra-structure. Devine personalities which are 24 for 7 at your disposition and concerned about all of your needs. The hotel has everything to make your stay worthwhile and being centered in the best part of Sansepolcro, the birthplace of Piero della Francesca, it still offers a silent... More

This is a wonderful place to stay, full of character and run by very friendly and kind people. The rooms are extremely comfortable despite the great age of the building, with very good bathroom and comfy beds, furniture etc. The decoration of the room is very tasteful, with everything in excellent condition and very clean. Lovely breakfast with delicious pastry... More

A wonderful cross between hotel and B&B, perfectly situated in magical Sansepolcro, large, airy rooms, well appointed, great breakfast, but most important is the proprietress, the lovely, ebullient, infinitely helpful Sophia

This is a beautiful property in the heart of Sansepolcro. My friends and I were on an unguided cycling tour of Tuscany, and the tour company--Iron Donkey--booked us here for two nights. The hotel is more like a B & B in that there is no service at night, and clients carry their own key for entry after hours. But... More

Sansepolcro is magical and staying in this converted palace right in the heart of town only adds to the unique experience. The rooms are comfortable and oversized with high ceilings and historic decor so you don't feel like you're in a hotel but feel as if the local prince lent you the keys to his palace for a few nights.... We stayed at the Palazzo Magi for two nights in early June 2013. We had a marvelous experience there and would recommend it highly. Sophia and her family are down-to-earth, friendly and extremely helpful in every regard. The hotel sits on the main street of this charming town. The evening passeggiata was one of the best parts of our stay.... More

I arrived in Sansepolcro with no reservation and no idea where to stay. I wandered through this pleasant Tuscan town, the birthplace of the Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca, and peered into the hotels in the centre. I liked the Palazzo Magi so I walked into the lobby and was instantly made to feel at home. The reception was warm... More

We've been @ Palazzo Magi for just one night with the family (2 adults and 2 children) a Saturday night. We are extremely happy for this choice, it's a wonderful and amazing place, an ancient building, quite different from a "standard" hotel. The location is central and quite. The service is great, the lady managing the hotel (daughter of the... More
