Sansepolcro location is a great eastern corner of Toscana with great food and lots of places to visit. The Palazzo di Luglio is a restored estate located uphill 2 km from the Sansepolcro city wall. The staff was very helpful and friendly and spoke English quite well. The owner was a very dedicated and friendly person. He works hard everyday,... More

This is a charming place to stay, 10 minute easy drive on a hill overlooking olive groves and the plain of Sansepulcro. Rooms are enormous and traditionally furnished and Juliano and his wife very hospitable, Juliano cooks lavish meals each evening, but there's no menu or price listed...just 4 typically Tuscan courses and good value. No English is spoken except... More

We felt very fortunate to have found this perfectly charming hotel. After a warm welcome by the owner, we were offered a choice of two suites. Both great, so hard to choose. Sorry, can't remember the name of our suite, but it was both spacious and comfortably furnished, with large windows overlooking the hotel's olive grove, the town of Sanseplocro... More

We sort of drove into this lovely Relais. The family running the nicely restoring house, is generous, welcoming and warm. The place has a fantastic location on the side of a Green hill. The breakfast and dinner are offered in the garden. The products are grown by the owner in his vegetable garden. The best tomatoes eaten lately, by the... More

Quiet, homely hotel or guest house. On the hills overlooking the town you really can get away from everything whilst stopping here. I enjoyed the one night business stopover even if it was much quieter than my usual accommodation. The lovely selection of home baked cakes for breakfast were incredibly tempting. Worth another visit to tuck into those I'm sure.

We planned to stopover for two nights, but stayed six. Warm hospitality, gracious home cooked dinners before the fire with local gourmet treats, suggestions and help with outings, tastings of new olive oil being pressed .. in addition to a marvelous location overlooking the Tuscan hills. Left with gifts of the local olive oil, fig jams, hugs. Luglio, his wife... More

We stayed here for four nights and were so sad to leave. Palazzo di Luglio is the most wonderful place--in a word, "paradiso." It is well located for day trips, especially if you are on the Piero Della Francesca trail. Our room was actually a spacious suite, filled with old world charm, from which we had a beautiful view. Our... More

Nice location, ideal for resting and discovering the surroundings. Country walks leaving from the gardens. Friendly owner wil happily tell you the story of the property and make you feel at home. Room was spacious and bedding comfortable. Old TV not connected but I guess it worked.

Palazzo di Luglio is all-round unquestionably the most pleasant hotel in which we have had the good fortune to stay across the length and breadth of Europe. The proprietors and their staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and treated us as if part of the family. The accommodation was both spacious and cultured, with obvious... More

We stayed with a group of 12 at the Palazzo on a tour of Tuscany. It is nicely located close to Sansepolcro. Within walking distance downhill. The owner Mr Venturo ran a very success restruant in Sansepolcro for 40 years. His food is fantastic. We had three of our dinners with him. He prepared and served the food to our... More
