At our arrival we were personally welcomed by the manager of the restaurant who escorted us to the table. The restaurant is designed in a typical Italian way, very well maintained and with attention to all details. The menu card offered us a wide variety of local and regional products, with a large choice of very good wines, all at... More

Have been staying in this hotel for the last 5 years. I go to Sansepolcro about 4 times a year and would not dream of changing the hotel for any other in the area. I would miss their restaurant to much and their helpful staff, especially elegant Mario Tricca,Monica and the rest. Thank you for making me always welcomed and... More

La Balestra is a short walk from the interesting and historical old town which has a fantastic atmosphere, like many similar Italian towns, early evening. The rooms are comfortable, modern and well equipped, and are much better than they look as if they are going to be from the nondescript location and exterior. There are no outside terraces or seating... More

Not a lot of hotels in this area and this one is basically within walking distance to the historic town. Airconditioners are on a timer so once they turn off in the early evening you can roast like a turkey if it is hot in your room. Also, make sure that you have the front desk unlock your phone line.... More
