Beautiful town, lovely room and excellent restaurant. Alex was so welcoming and we found the atmosphere just lovely and relaxed. It was great to be so close to everything.. so close to the bus station and lovely shops. The restaurant was truly fantastic and our dinner was really delicious and reasonable, best house wine we had in Italy. Breakfast also... More

Very nice people having this restaurant. We stopped in Sansepolcro ilate in the evening, we happened to find this nice place, we had a very, very good dinner and nice stay in the pension upstairs and excelent breakfest. The women - owner is very nice person! We wish them many satisfied customers as we were!

I've recently returned from a holiday in a villa on the Umbria Tuscany border (4th time in the last 5 years or so). Ristorante Fiorentina is a strong favourite of mine. On this trip we had 3 meals there; a Saturday lunch with girlfriend, a lunch for 13 assorted (grown up) children and their other halves and a lunch for... More

We stopped overnight in Sansepolcro, but it was a larger than life visit. A very nice little walled city, but the best thing was the hospitality and great food we enjoyed here at Locanda del Giglio. Our room upstairs was a little bit quaint, and a little bit modern, and quite comfortable. The meal we enjoyed in Ristorante Fiorentino was... More

We were disappointed in this property. The owners are focused on their restaurant, which is one floor below. The toilet rooms associated with the restaurant are on the staircase and at the end of the hall. Make sure you dead-lock your door because restaurant patrons walk down between rooms and try your door. Very unnerving. The real issue for us... More

This hotel and restaurant provide everything we want from Italy. The hotel(Locanda) is right in the centre of this pretty, compact town with the art of Piero della Francesca at it's heart. With only four rooms, you have to be quick to book, so it has taken us four years to return after an earlier visit. So we were overwhelmed... More

We ate in the Fiorentino during our holiday in Tuscany and it was by far the best restaurant we visited during our two-weeks there. The staff are charming, the restaurant itself beautifully decorated, clean and fresh and the food Italian cuisine at its best - inventive dishes prepared using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. An impressive and very reasonably-priced wine list adds... More

We had lunch in Ristorante Fiorentino, established 1807. This wonderful family run ristorante serves wonderful home made pasta, one of the best panzenellas I have tasted, and excellent local meats like quail, duck and an amazing beef fillet. Excellent value for money, friendly multi lingual service. This was our fifth visit in the past two years, and we will keep... More

Loved this hotel in the centre of Sansepolcro. It is part of a thriving restaurant that has been in business for a couple of hundred years (it's ok - they have upgraded). The host is a larger than life Italian who clearly has a passion for love, life and food. He was absolutely wonderful -- so helpful and enthusiastic. The... More

This was one of many Hotels I stayed in while cycling through Tuscany/Umbria. The facility is nicely located in an interesting old walled city. The restaurant on the second floor served wonderful food, and the room upstairs was a very nicely modernized accommodation with plenty of space and was nicely furnished. What was exceptional, however, was the staff, including the... More
