My husband and I stayed at Poggio ai Santi for 2 nights in May 2014, and we wished we had stayed longer. The property is beautiful, and the staff is helpful and friendy. We would love to return and stay longer.

Everything was amazing!! Thank you Francesca & Giulio for everything you did to make our stay a truly special one. Thanks so much to their exceptional Chef - Tim - an incredible talent, dinner was delicious, staff were so attentive & knowledgable. We found it very difficult to leave this gorgeous place.

We travelled up to Poggio Ai Santi after 5 days in Eastern Tuscany for our last 3 nights exploring the West coast for our relaxing days of the holiday. We were so pleased we found this place, and only wished we had come sooner and for longer! It's a beautiful set-up, the grounds are immaculately kept, the house and buildings... More

Perfect setting for relax. The property is very large with pines, trees, walking paths, horticulture, outdoor pool and a wonderful view over olive groves to the sea. Breakfast with a wide variety of foods is included. Dinner at the site restaurant is a social experience that is truly enjoyable. The landlady herself comes to each table, sits down with you... More

Like many people who go to Tuscany, I had spent most of my time in the Chianti and Brunello areas, and never ventured out along the coast that runs north from Civitavecchia until this trip. Poggio ai Santi is set on the hill over the small town of San Vincenzo, and is the perfect reason to make your way to... More

This was the last stop in our 2 1/2 week Italy Vacation. It was the perfect setting for relaxing and winding down from the busier cities and sites. The property is very large with nice trees, walking paths, and various horitculture. It is one of those places that you just don't need to or want to leave at any point... More

We stopped here for our first 2 nights on our 2 1/2 week trip to Italy. I wanted a place to recover from our flight over that was not too long a drive from the Rome airport on our way to Tuscany and Umbria. We loved everything about it -- very quiet and comfortable with great views and fantastic food... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights in Poggio ai Santi in August in suite Orto, which is a casita style building in the hotel grounds. The overall atmosphere was extremely friendly and relaxing - with a real family feel to the place. The delicious local and indeed homegrown produce was much in evidence at breakfast and the staff were... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week of our honeymoon in late May and had a fantastic time. We chose to stay here primarily based on the reviews and photos on here and it was definitely the right choice. It is a really relaxing place and did feel like we had a heavenly retreat together. We stayed in... More

We booked Poggio Ai Santi as part of our honeymoon. We love boutique and personal hotels and this ticked all the boxes. The owner is just lovely and all the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The hotel setting is so romantic. We went in November and it took our breath away so in the summer I can imagine it... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The place is a magical one, nestled in hills of Mediterranean maquis, with the sea as a backdrop. A natural amphitheatre where Segesta or Epidaurus could have been built in classical times. We have preserved it intact for you. At Poggio ai Santi you will not find butlers and concierges to fill your every whim, but a guest house atmosphere which meets your real wishes. The Podere farmhouse, the Stables and Villa are orientated to use all the resources of the local climate, mild in winter and cooled in summer by the sea breeze. Everywhere we have given priority to space and silence. Our wish has been to be generous with space. At Poggio ai Santi, you will only find suites of which even the simplest offer a degree of comfort that many grand hotels can no longer afford. When we are full, we have thirty guests. The suites are spread between the three houses, each with its own charm and its specific features. Most have terraces or direct access onto the garden. The privilege of silence is rare: we have decided to support it by accepting children only over 12 years of age. ... more   less
