The hotel was in a great location, a short 2 block stroll to the waterfront and casino. Parking was free. Reception was efficient and helpful as were other employees of the hotel. Rooms were adequate but in need of updating/painting. Bathrooms were small but adequate. Continental breakfast was provided. For the money, it was a good buy in a good... More

I chose this hotel based on the room price (it was the lowest in the area and had the best reviews, comparatively) and as a sucker for romance, I totally fell for it. It is in a historic nobleman's home, but as I've read, it is actually a number of buildings that are all connected. We were in the main... More

Can only disagree with other reviews of this lovely period hotel. Set just back from the sea front and up a steep hill it is quiet yet close to all the main amenities of San Remo. Our room was delightful with period furniture, a very comfortable bed and a balcony with sea view. Everything was spotlessly clean although many of... More

A 10% discount in October is better than nothing, but typically of Italy, discounts to attract custom are rare. The place has a quaint appearance inside, with decor from anywhere from 1910 to 1930, but basically solid, with stone features, some glass and metalwork imitating leaves etc. My single had a deep, half length barth, and shutters that just would... Arrived for a stay of one night at this hotel. Very pleasant from the outside with attractive gardens and facade. The hotel is three connected buildings and our room was in the far building which allowed sweeping views of the jack hammering and renovation work going on next door. With heavy suitcases, the walk from reception to our room was... More

The "Hotel" which consists of 3 villas linked by walkways. We were allocated a room in the Furthest west... More

I would stay in this hotel again. The hotel is lovely and old fashioned which I didn't expect! The rooms are quite small but there is a balcony so you can sit out and enjoy the sun. The room was clean and the bathroom is pretty good. You can even just wander about the hotel, there are lots of nice... More

the hotel is overlooking the marina and very near to casino. Is very old villa with it's original furniture. Staying there is like palying in a old movie. The only small disavantage is the breakfast which is kind of poor

Lovely old building with antique furniture throughout. Limited modernisation, though so no air con, which is serious consideration in summer. Just like staying in a (slightly run down) stately home. Helpful friendly staff.
