Old, musty, but our room was clean...and the staff was friendly, especially the night desk clerk. Nice antiques, lovely view from our frontside balcony...noisy, but no more so than hotels in large cities. Breakfast was adequate...dinners fair. This hotel was grand once, but that grandeur has now faded badly. Our room had a toilet which functioned intermittently. The food at breakfast was very poor, tasteless cheese, undrinkable coffee and very little choice.
