My first thoughts about Royal hotel in San Remo were about it being so tremendous! The staff is very kind and helpful, always smiling, the room was splendid, clean and spacious. What I loved the most, was the breakfast menu, the variety is incredible, the food is fresh and even the pickiest individuals will be hunting for more! Since we... More

This hotel is so international I will give my review in English. Just a perfect stay. Warning, not for the budget traveler. We found a fantastic offer on the Internet and stayed there for 3 days in a seafront suite. Great breakfast, lovely welcoming staff, nice warm swimming pool with sea water. You can walk down to the beach where... More

We stayed at the Royal for a week-end in a junior suite overlooking the sea. Service is excellent and the staff will do its utmost to fulfill your needs. The breakfast is great with a wide variety of food. The spa offers a steambath, sauna and jet-stream pool as well as a comfortable resting area. In short, this is luxury... More

My husband and I stayed a week here in luxurious perfection. The first person to greet us was Roberto- charming and professional. This is a classic Grande Dame of Europe and the best part is the staff who is so friendly without the false airs, highly efficient, helpful and kind. Our suite was perfect thanks also to the incredible cleanliness... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in late September. The weather was warm and sunny so we were able to be poolside on both days between our jaunts to the country (Apricale and Dolceaqua). The Hotel has old world charm, the room, closet and bathroom were spacious and clean. The car parking was in a secure area... More

This was good for a long weekend break but wouldn't have wanted to have stayed longer, discovered when we booked in that we had only booked for one person so quite a heavy additional chared. The room was at the back of the hotel but a good size and good sized bathroom, and very generous with the toiletries. Breakfast was... More

I stayed at the Royal Hotel in San Remo in October 2014 and in my opinion it's a beautiful hotel and we were so well looked after, the staff is very helpful, Alessandro at the reception is charming, the spa is great, the location is amazing right by the sea, the hotel is slowly being renovated if you can get... I am completely biased as The Royal Hotel is my favourite Hotel in Italy and maybe in the world.... We've been going for past 10 years, since before we had kids and now every year with our 2 kids who both also love San Remo, The Hotel and all its Staff most of whom have been there for years... We had two nights in this amazing place (I wish it was longer!) The rooms are beautiful, food is amazing and the staff are very helpful. The pool and surrounding area are lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here and it was suprisingly cheap, given how lovely it is.

...in this "Palazzo" style hotel. Breakfast is great (though this year a bit less organised), staff is very friendly and helpful at any time of the day. Nice, romantic candlelight dinner at "Il Giardino", a bit pricey, but worth trying. The pizzas and pastas at Il Corallino are great ! There's a nice choice of spa-treatments, which we would recommend.... More
