Castello Rosso sits atop a hill. The roads up to the hotel are narrow and somewhat steep. If you have a large car, be prepared. We had a lovely corner room, the furniture was antique and in good condition. There was no closet, only an armoire, desk with a chair and one small arm chair. WiFi was not accessible in... More

Very nice and quiet place close to Saluzzo, beautiful garden and beautiful views, as its on the top of the hill. Nice breakfast served al fresco. Stylish decor and perfect spot to relax. Good place to stop when visiting this part of Italy.

I have been there with my girlfriend for a relaxing weekend. Everything has been perfect: professional and caring staff, clean and friendly. Very relaxing.....I would recommend it to break from the hustle

We were looking for a quit place with quality Italian food from Piemonte. The stay was ruined by a local wedding party playing Rihanna and Shakira till two oclock in the morning. Not exactly the tranquility we were looking for and what to expect for 192 euros. The booking office should have told us in advance. We decided to leave earlier,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to Saluzzo. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are magnificent, the views, spectacular. The rooms are really spacious, relaxing and airy. I would recommend asking for a room over looking the back of the hotel. Our room, 304, had a fantastic balcony and a lovely view. The breakfast on... More

We stayed at Castello Rosso for a week this June for a biking trip with 14 other Americans and Italians. First of all, the cycling in this part of Italy is incredible. You can ride into the Alps or across the pan-flat valley to the Langhe and spend your day on medium climbs through Barolo, La Morra and other breath-taking... More

My wife and me booked this hotel to enjoy a free from kids week end. So we choose it because of the Spa and the restaurant. But the expectations were maybe too high. The Spa is ok, well organized with very nice and welcome people. The hotel itself is nice especially because it is located in an old castle. The... More

We have booked Castello Rosso Hotel because of the restaurant on premises. The restaurant turned out to be the worst ever experience in Italy (see the review under restaurant). The hotel itself is relatively nice, located in the castle at the top of a hill, overlooking a small city of Castigliole Saluzzo. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and... More

Hotel staff were pleasant and checked us in and out quite quickly. Lovely view from all points in the grounds especially if there is no fog around. We had one of the Foresteria rooms with only a little view but the room was lovely and large. The price we paid was also very reasonable, but next time we might book... More

This ancient castle of the 15th century is located in Piedmont, a region of northern Italy. The word Piedmont means "foot of the mountains." The capital of the Piedmont - Turin is widely known in our country as a city car group Fiat. In fact, Turin - the city is very ancient. And these lands first settled by the Romans... More
