As a family of five (three children ages 4, 8 and 10) we stayed in this 12th century castle in march 2013. We booked a two bedroom apartment which was perfect, modest furnishings and sparse but suited us well. beds were comfortable and I loved that they had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We were greeted by a lovely lady and given coffee whilst booking in. She was certainly a most gracious hostess and very attentive. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely castle complex. The room was modernized, but retained the old world charm. The views were beautiful and the swimming pool area was lovely.
