I stayed at Antica Torre just for one night, but would like to highly recommend it. The hospitality of the management was very much worth the entire stay. This was our third visit to this very special place. It is a lovely agriturismo establishment high up in the beautiful hills near the popular (with Italians) spa town of Salsomaggiore Terme. The tower was built in 1350 with rooms added much later. Small suite of rooms on each of the upper 3 floors offered quiet with countryside views. There also are other accommodations on the property. Stroll around the property and watch the sheep graze or lay by the pool. The site is good for day trips to Salsomaggiore or Parma.... more
