Being a vegan I was worried the food was going to be awful or that the hotel wouldn't understand what being vegan meant. Luckily, the chef embraced my diet and cooked me really tasty meals every evening. By the end of the week he had even made me the best vegan chocolate cake I've ever had! I also bought soy... More

A group of us stayed in Edelweiss for a week. You can ski in and out when the snow conditions are good. Bruno gives lifts into town in the evening as it is a 20min steep walk (though faster on the way back). The lounge area has a couple of sofas, a wood burner/fire, tables, games, and a bar. The... Well the staff are excellant and could not try any harder to please their guests......the location is away from the village and the walk to it is up a very steep hill, but thankfully they have bruno (the hotel owner/manager...if you ask him to run you to the village he will.... Rooms ok nothing special lounge...nice and cosy bar small but... More

Nice hotel near a main new lift to take you straight to the ski area without queueing, food is a little basic, but no different to the norm. Staff are very friendly and Bruno the manager is very helpful, the hotel is down the hill from the main town, but is walkable through the estate in about 20 mins, Bruno... More

Stayed here end of jan 2015. The staff are really lovely, welcoming & friendly. For me they really made our stay here a great one. However this is not a true ski in ski out hotel. Yes you can ski out to the lift, but to ski back in you have to dodge under a tape off the grand vista... More

We visited here for the first time in January and unfortunately had a really poor experience. The good bits: great location, Bruno (the owner) is fab, the staff are helpful and the hotel is kept clean, loads of hot water. Bad points: the food is awful- 3 straight nights of veal, very much like a school dinner, stale bread, get... More

Location is excellent, especially if you are lucky enough to stay when there's plenty of snow for the Jouvenceaux lift to run - unfortunately for us the resort decided to stop it the day after we arrived. To get guests to the slopes Bruno drives as many times as necessary to the Sportinia lift about 5 minutes away and at... More

First, the bad points, this hotel isn't in the center of Sauze. It's a good 20 minute walk up a pretty step hill. However, it is next to the Jeauvanceax ski lift which means that it is ski in, ski out........should there be enough snow. The hotel is owned by Bruno and run by Luca and Stephanie who are really... We booked this for 3 families consisting of 12 travellers & as always we were a little apprehensive. There was really no need as the hotel was lovely, the staff were helpful & friendly & the location was excellent for skiing & being 15 minutes walk into Sauze it prevented us going out too much & missing the skiing. The... More

We stayed at this hotel for New Year. Hotel was small friendly. Perfect for a family vacation. About a 15 minute walk to Sauze main village and it is very steep hills. Luca or Bruno will always run you into town and then its not too bad a walk back. Luca and his family and staff worked very hard to... More
