Stayed 16/03/14 for a week and thought the hotel brilliant. Max was not a cheerful as the last time we stayed but as it was at the end of season I guess he was tired. He told me he was building a house in Sauze and with 3 kids and a hotel to run I guess things were getting on... More

Just returned from a weeks skiing in the sunshine. The Hotel Martin is a lovely little hotel, basic but clean, warm and plenty of good food. The hotel offers a service for 5 euros per person per week to transport you and your skis to and from the ski lift. We however, chose to leave our skis at the Sportina... More

We stayed at Hotel Martin in February 2014 for the third time with family and friends. The hotel is perfect as a home from home, delicious home cooked four course meals every night and nothing is ever too much trouble for Max, his family and staff. The lounge area is lovely and cosy with a log fire going all the... More

We travelled to Italy to ski at Sauze D'Oulx, it was our second stay at the Hotel Martin (we did the same holiday in 2013), the hotel is simply brilliant, Max, his family and the hotel staff are fantastic and very accommodating, to the extent that they fed our youngest child in the bar as the time dinner was served... We had a great time staying at the Martin Hotel and the skiing and weather were brilliant all week. The hotel is a small hotel (18 bedrooms) with a very nice bar area, restaurant and other amenities including ski & heated boot storage, games room etc. Bedrooms are a reasonable size and we found the bed quite comfortable. The shower... More

Just returned from one of our most fun packed ski holidays with our young daughter. 1st time in massive Vialattea ski area. Covered all the slopes during a sunny week with plenty of snow. Very quiet pistes through the week with no queues untill Sat. The extra lifts open on the Saturday allowed us to escape the busy central lifts... More

Normally, my partner and I go skiing in Austria and go for 4 Star hotels with good leisure facilities (in case of “white-out” days!) This year, we tightened our belts a bit and went for this hotel in Italy, which had glowing reports from the majority of guests. We have to say that we were a bit disappointed – for... More
