We had been booked into the Hotel Sole but due to overbooking our travel company moved us to the Antico Borgo for our week's stay in Riva. The hotel is in a narrow street but there was absolutely no noise at night and even at 9am the shops and bars are only just coming to life. The hotel is quite... More

We stayed here for the first 2 weeks in Sep and had a fantastic time. The hotel is beautiful and spotless and all the staff were fantastic, we had room 208 with lovely roof top views over to the lake and the clock tower which was stunning! Room was a good size, we had a fab huge shower with red... More

Hadn't realised hotel down such a narrow cobbled street, felt too chlostraphobic for us. Our room was sparse and overlooking front of hotel, the noise at night and very early morning was absolutely horrendous and due to heat had to have windows open but unable to close shutters if required. Toiletories not replaced which was a little annoying.Reception/dining staff very... More

We stayed here the last week of August and had a brilliant time. You couldn't ask for a better location right in the centre of Riva just a minutes walk to the Waterfront and right amongst the lovely shops. The reception area is beautifully designed with modern reflective floors/ ceilings and excellent lighting. There are comfy sofas, magazines and a... More

We stayed at this hotel last week and have nothing but good things to say about it. Our trip had started badly with our transfer not turning up at the airport, not the fault of the hotel, however when we finally arrived we were booked in swiftly with very friendly staff and given a last minute meal in the dining... We booked this hotel on the basis that it had a good location and seemed very good value with half board. The rooms are a decent size and very minimalist but very modern and clean. the arrangements to get to the room can involve steps, lift, then more steps but its not really an issue when you have unloaded all of... Had a short break. Staff lovely and helpful. Fellow guests friendly and chatty. Beds comfy and rooms very clean. Had a balcony room at the side of the hotel suited us fine for the time we were there. Meals lovely wouldn't hesitate to go back there or to recommend it to others

Just spent a week at this hotel and we were extremely pleased with it. The hotel is set back from the lake in the cobbled streets. It is very modern and exceptionally clean. The rooms are sparse (would benefit from some cupboard space for clothes) but are very clean and comfortable. The stars of this hotel are its staff -... More

This hotel is everything you need for a nice stay in Lake Garda.. All staff friendly and we stayed on a BB basis. Breakfast was excellent with staff exceptionally friendly and attentive. the drinks weren't over priced as I've found in many hotels. We didn't have a balcony however to upgrade was rather pricey (so we didn't bother). room clean... More

Fabulous week at the Antico Borgo in July! Hotel staff were courteous and very helpful throughout our stay. Can’t praise them enough. Our immaculately clean room was very modern with a great bathroom/shower and the most comfy bed ever! The cleaning staff do an amazing job throughout the whole hotel. Spotless! Great little reception/bar/seating area with free, fast, wifi. Bar... More
