We have made a reservation for 2 double rooms at Villa Miravalle. The presentation in the net was good. Also the pictures. We arrived and feel very welcome. The young lady at the front desk has done a good job. After arriving in the rooms we where very surprised. The size was absolutely tooo small. We could open our suitcases... More

My husband and I have visited Riva for many years and came back after a ten year gap. We have eaten in the restaurant at Villa Miravelle but this was our first stay and it was a super experience. Our room had a small terrace with views of the lake and the mountains. Everything was clean, comfortable and charming. The... More

We stayed a night in this charming hotel giving you a feeling of good old times at the beginning of 1900. Rooms were rather small, as they were at that time, but full of feeling. Wonderful terrace to enjoy a rich and tasty breakfast under orange trees. Restaurant's specialty of meet grilled on open fire was very much worth of... More

We stayed here for a couple of weeks in September. A small characterful family run hotel in a great location - from the courtyard/parking area (description doesn't do it justice) - the gate to the main road leads to a five minute walk downhill to the waterfront where you can pick up the boats going around the lake, or via... Room was very basic, bathroom extremely small but functional, on arrival the safe in the bedroom would not work and we were given keys and told " not to loose them or else" !! Breakfast was average. The dining areas were very nice and the hotel was very clean, all the female staff are very pleasant and helpful. Internet was... More

We had 8 days at Villa Miravalle and it was exactly as Riva itself. Unspoilt, spotless, charming and splendid. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. It was beautifully furnished inside and out and spotless. The hotel was to the side of the town which was pedestrian only and a lovely 3 min walk to the town. It was busy... More

Stayed here for a week in August. Our family had two rooms, which were clean, well equipped and quite comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning at night, especially since I was bothered by mosquitoes if we left the windows open. I would agree with a previous reviewer that it probably isn't worth paying extra for a lake view. Staff were... More

My husband and I stayed here on a quick weekend getaway and I absolutely loved it. As soon as we drove up to the property I was impressed by its beauty and landscape. The lady who works at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. In fact, everyone who worked there was exceptional. The restaurant on site was so very good... More

Central for old town (5 minute walk). Pretty garden, outside restaurant area and pool. The lake view is a little distant/obscured, so I am not sure I would pay a supplement for this. Friendly staff that speak English (and German - Riva is something of a hot spot for German/Austrian tourism). Breakfast was OK, but could have been improved by... More

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Miravalle while attending a sailing championship in Riva del Garda. Whilst not next to the water it is within yards of the town, and 5 minutes walk to the yacht club. The hotel is family run and is extremely welcoming. The terrace and bar are easy to relax in. We ate in the hotel... More
