We (middle-aged couple) stayed for three nights in the Astoria Park. It is a lovely hotel, clean and bright with good food and nice garden. We did not use the pool or spa. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk from the town centre. Rooms on the top floor were very hot and the AC system... More

We stayed in this hotel in May 2015. Lovely buffet breakfast, great choice. Rooms were modern and immaculately clean. Fresh towels daily. Modern bar and restaurant. Lovely pool. Situated beside bus station approx 10-15 min walk to the waterfront but the hotel also provides bikes which are great for exploring and getting around. We even cycled to the next town... More

Stayed here back in September 2014 with my wife, Mum and Step Dad who are in their late 60s. Car necessary to get around. Very good location in Garda, but it is a 15 minute walk with hills to the main town but it is fabulous when you get there. Hotel itself: Pros Good room sizes Clean Modern Good service... More

Dear PaulYorath, We really appreciate your opinion and I inform you that, also thanks to it, we will do our best to improve our Bar services. Regarding to the way to town we know it is 10-15 minutes from the city center and this is good for the parking area and garage we offer that usually is not provided in... More

We went there for a short trip during Easter. We got a room in the garden house. The room was not very clean, full of dust. The bathroom smelled of mold and you could see mold in the shower. We asked for a new room since something like that you cannot clean in one hour or two. The staff explained... More

Spent last Friday 17 & 18 Oct at the Astoria Park Hotel. On first appearances, the hotel looked very nice but little by little our opinion changed. Firstly the wash basin leaked from underneath. The young man at the desk couldn't give me a bucket to catch the flow of water but gave me a couple of towels to put... More

Have just returned from a week on a half board basis at the Astoria park. It was a first class experience. Great food with lots of choice, spotless rooms beautiful spa and swimming pool. Professional and friendly staff. Convenient to lakeside promenade. Would love to stay again.

Just came home from a fabulous week in Riva and will definitely visit the area again in the near future. Unfortunately I will not be staying at the Astoria park again. I think the 4 star rating of this hotel is really stretching the imagination. We stayed in room 446 which is incredibly small, there was 1 tiny window and... More

We spent a week here on a trip to Lake Garda organised by The Travel Department who had chosen this hotel for us. We found it to be very centrally located for travel to surrounding villages. It was also close to the lakeside promenade with a great selection of restaurants and coffee bars. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds.... More

Stayed in this hotel as my 4 star option with Travel Department for a week in Lake Garda - how I wish I'd been allocated their other 4 star Hotel Liberty ! Basic room, flimsy plastic cups in the bathroom ( took 2 from the bar which nobody removed until the last night - did they worry we'd pack them... More
