We stayed at Hotel Damanse for a week and found it almost faultless. The grounds, pool and rooms were spotlessly clean at all times. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The excellent beach is a 5 minute walk down a hill. As other reviewers have said, I would recommend hiring a car for at least some of your stay.... more

If you are unfortunate enough to stay in the ground floor rooms, you can actually hear people using the toilets in the upstairs rooms. The waste pipes run through the walls. A great family run hotel, set in tropical gardens, smashing pool, great home cooking and pizza's to die for, set in a very unspoilt of Italy, with Tropea an historic town close by, local bus route stops outside hotel, but a hired car would be useful to see the most of this unspoilt region go there now! more
