I have had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Posta two years in a row and will definitely be back. The rooms are beautifully finished, classically elegant. The close proximity to the centre of town makes Hotel Posta an excellent base for exploring Reggio Emilia. Wednesday nights in July in Reggio Emilia are amazing thanks to the music festival. Awesome... More

As others have mentioned, the location of the hotel couldn't be better. Having said that, if traveling by car, it does take some nerve to enter the pedestrianized area when you first arrive (the easiest way is via Via Dante Aligheri/Via Roma/Via Emilio San Pietro; follow the signs for "Posta"). Note that if you arrive on a Wednesday, you may... More

Had a great three night stay in Posta, back in June, with our two year old daughter. On arrival, we managed to park for free, just by the hotel entrance, ad were then greeted by very pleasant staff and told we had been upgraded to a suite. Once in the room, we discovered it was a two room, two bathroom... More

Booked a suite and ended up with the honeymoon suite, which is done in over-the-top floral patterns with a four poster bed with canopy on a platform and has 2 bathrooms (one with a tub, one with a shower). Getting to the hotel by car is a bit of an experience as it requires driving through the city roads that... More

I visited Hotel Posta in february 2014. My room was located in the annex near the hotel. The doubleroom had a lot of space, and was elegant decorated. Modern bathroom, and two large closets. The hotels breakfast was delicate, varied and tasted good and was served in a beautiful breakfastroom. The staff was really helpful and pleasant. The hotel is... More

Our niece recommended that we stay at this hotel and we are so glad we did, it was just amazing. From the minute you walk into the reception area to going into your room to then entering the breakfast room the following morning, we could not fault this hotel at all. The staff we just amazing, so obliging and easy... More

We travel more than 200000 miles a year, returning to Italy as often as possible. Except for summer in Ravello/Amalfi Coast, Reggio Emilia is our favorite location in Italy. Between Parma and Modena, and Bologna, it has the best of all worlds-Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar and prosciutto, locally made. Charming location. Ask for the honeymoon suite (120). Two baths,... More

Great stay in Reggio Emilia and Hotel Posta is a great old style hotel but their internet is hard to manage and rooms facing the square are very noisy, particularly when the Friday market is setting up from 5am.

A good hotel, right in the heart of the city centre. They upgraded me to a junior suite, which was a nice surprise. The rooms were spacious, very clean and a nice view from every window. The mini bar had it all. The breakfast had a wide variety of fruit, cheese, yogurt, bread and juices. Only the wifi (free for... More

The Estate Agent's mantra has it right. The Hotel Posta has the city's prime location, being absolutely at its heart, and within easy walking distance of sights, cafes, shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel offers a very high level of comfort, with well equipped, spacious rooms. It presents a warm and friendly ambience and one of its strongest assets are... More
