Hotel Posta is a restored palace right in the (pedestrianised) centre of a charming old town. You have to be brave to drive in and find the parking garage. The hotel is well located, in the center of town with some rooms overlooking the main square. It is clean but very dated. No restaurant. While there is very little to do in Reggio Emilia, it is a good location for exploring the renaissance cities nearby. more

We concur with other reviews. We enjoyed the location and our very nice jr suite. The tour of the cheese making facility that they arranged was very interesting. The Hotel Posta deserves every plaudit it receives. It is listed in Johannsens as a Historical Hotel and indeed it is but it goes way beyond that.
