I stayed in this hotel for a week for work. The reception area is small but the hotel is clean and nice. The room is quite big. It's close to the shopping area. The hotel staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good.

Let me get the bad out of the way first. I had booked an apartment and that's what I got, but the bathroom was old and small with water leaking from the shower, so I called the front desk to complain. We were quickly moved to the other end of the hotel, room 442, a single room with a large... More

We have stayed her twice, and continue to be impressed - sometimes a return visit is disappointing. Quite difficult to find in Reggios police controlled one way system! Reception efficient and very frriendly. Rooms wonderful. This time we had deluxe double - wow!! What a ceiling! Both times we have had room service, which always arrives within 20 minutes, and... Nice hotel, I stayed in a very nice apartment. The gym is not bad, there are few items but they are quite new: tapis roulant, cyclette and weights and dumb bells. The minibar and the laundry service are very expensive. The restaurant is fairly good and the breakfast is ok: fruits, croissants, cereals, yogurts, eggs, bacon, brad, ham & cheese... More

I'm not sure if I 'lucked out' on the room but I had a very comfortable and spacious bedroom and a bathroom that was almost as big! However a friend of mine totally trumped my experience with a gorgeous room at the top with beams and generally very romantic decor. (This was room 442). Great location, friendly staff and charming... More

A very lovely and intimate hotel in the heart of Reggio Emilia's city centre. Interesting to know for any fashionista it is or was( maybe sold by now) by Maramotti better known as the brand Maxmara. Rooms are in an antique style, each room is different but very comfortable. It has a good breakfast buffet. I would always recommend this... More

The Albergo delle Notarie is an extraordinary hotel in a remarkable city. It is housed in an unprepossessing building on a corner in the Old Town sector of Reggio Emilia. It is very handy to the local shops off the Piazza Prampolini and surrounding areas. The Old Town is a charming introduction to Italian piazza life – taking in the... More

From all hotels I stayed in this was the No 2 after Posta. Service is good rooms are nice but not 100% clean in 2 different stays. Restaurant is also ok. Beautiful historical building in the city center. Next to the best Galeteria K2.

I stayed here for business with a small group of colleagues and we couldn't say enough great things about this hotel! Albergo Notarie is located within the city center next to Piazza Prampolini - everything was in within walking distance. My group was doing work at the Loris Malaguzzi Center and although the hotel would happily call for a taxi... More

Had a great single room; fantastic bathroom; located near one of the main squares of the city; easily walkable.
