Having just returned from a week long stay at the Albergo Mornadi, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the city. I stayed there whilst on a study week to the Pre-schools, the hotel was in a central location to the Loris Malaguzzi centre and the town centre. The hotel was really clean, and the staff were... Albergo Morandi, a nice way to say Hotel Morandi, is the quintesential Italian business hotel, run by generations of families. They have years of experience to get things right. They have owned the business and building for years so the rares are low, not because it is a cheap hotel, but because they can afford to make enough money, and... More

It is a cosy spot in Reggio that is close to the train station and the shops. For those doing study tours to the Loris Malaguzzi Centre this is the perfect place. The charming key chains, the simple decor, free coffee and tea 24/7, free wi-fi access, the warm reception, the charming rooms make one feel like living with family... More

the Albergo Morandi is situated at walking distance from Reggio Emilia historical center. from outside it doesn't look anything special even though its recently been redecorated. The room we were given , a superior (lablu) was nicely decorated with wooden furniture and a very comfortable bed. The room itself is a bit tiny but for a couple of nights stay... More

This is a centrally located facility in Reggio, on the city-center tract of the Via Emilia. The hotel has two types of rooms, standard and superior. The superior are recently renovated, with large and spotless bathrooms and airco. It is worth to ask and pay the very modest difference. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and ready to satisfy... More

I stayed here for the Reggio Emilia study group in November. The hotel is close to the stay- don't need to take a cab. Very conveniently located close to Loris Malaguzzi center and the city centre. Although the rooms are pretty small and outdated, the service was absolutely incredible! The hotel is family owned and all the staff go above... More

Small room but very clean. An old fashioned hotel with excellent old fashioned service. The spacious lounge had complimentary espresso coffee/tea machine. The recommendations for a walking tour and restaurant serving local cuisine (Restorante Canossa -reviewed separately) were suited to our tastes.

First of all I want to say the owner- Lucia and her son were so friendly and helpful. The receptionist in evening Franchesca was amazing. I still write her and keep in touch. I went to. Reggio Emilia to the Loris Malaguzzi center for an international conference for teaching Reggio Emilia approach with children. The town is wonderful and the train... More

This hotel is very conveniently located (especially if you are attending any event at the Loris Malaguzzi Center), near the train station and also near the center of town. The room was simple but had everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff at this hotel is stellar. They are genuinely kind and friendly... More

I was delighted by the warm hospitality of this hotel. All of the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I really felt that I was a guest in their home. The location as perfect for my destination to the Malaguzzi Center and it was still very walkable to the center of town. Breakfast was lovely and the host remembered each... More
