Firstly, when arriving at Punta Civita you are met by the owner, Roberto Lucibello. Remember the days when people where honest, friendly and respectful? Well, Roberto is all these things, a true gem of a man and made our stay an absolute pleasure.
The accommodation is not overstated, just cosy, comfy and a perfect bed and breakfast overlooking the Amalfi coast towards Minori.
Roberto treated us like kings, became our friend, gave us advice and when we left we vowed to return for a holiday. We were shooting a wedding and our time was limited. We were very busy every day and if we had stayed anywhere else I think we might have found it more difficult to do our job, but at Punta Civita it was just perfect.
Be sure to ask Roberto for some of his lovely 'Nada's cakes', figs and also prickly pears (which the italians call 'Indian peaches'). In fact you really should try the fruit they sell on the Amalfi, it is excellent.
