My wife & I spent a week here recently. Location, service & food all great. All the rooms are below street level, so although you are close to the road the only sound you hear is that of the sea - wonderful. We had a room with a small terrace overlooking the sea which was a bonus. Although I hired a... More

We stayed on the period from 26/05 until 29/05 on this small and charming family run hotel and we felt at home, the service was lovely, the food outstanding and Nicola, the owner run the show together with his wife in the kitchen, Antonio serving the dinner and all the others I can't remember the names. The location was perfect... More

A small hotel , 12 rooms, located at the Amalfi coast between Ravello and Amalfi. In a busy summer , a day full of traffic you can walk to Amalfi , one kilometer from the hotel or take the bus to Ravello or a 5 minutes walk to Atrani , all of them are beautiful places to spend the day.... More

I stayed here for 9 nights with my husband in mid May. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend VSM. Views from room and from around the hotel's grounds were amazing. Food was terrific and everyone at VSM was very friendly. Very convenient location from which to explore the area. We had dinner at the hotel each night and... More

Ravello, Ravello – why do we keep coming back year after year? We have found the most amazing place to stay – Hotel Villa San Michele. The hotel’s restaurant is also a wonderful place to experience home made Italian cooking. By staying here we get the best of the Amalfi coast – warm hospitality great food combined with some of... We stayed two nights. The place is amazingly beutiful, clean. It is located 20-30 minuts walk from Amalfi center, but the but station is 10 meters from the hotel. The corespondence regarding the reservstion was a breeze. We received a small room with small balcony (No. 120). There are others (we made a last minute booking). Breakfest is a bit... More

I would like to say thanks to the welcoming staff and owners - we enjoyed our stay very much. While driving along the coast we visted Amalfi, Ravello, Sorrento, and Positano and Amalfi, I think being near Ravello is best location away hassle and bassle of towns like Positano and Amalfi. Villa is tucked away and feels more private and... More

Just spent a week at San Michelle and loved the place. The views are stunning. The room was simple but perfectly satisfactory with a small balcony looking out over the water and a decent bathroom with a shower cubicle. The 12 rooms are in a building at the bottom of a steep terraced slope and close to the sea with... More

Dear lancashireexile, thanks a lot for your review. We're happy you've enjoyed your time with us and hope to see you here again! One small note: beside the parking at the hotel, we've a private garage in the vicinities. Being the Amalfi Coast one of the safest places in the world, we found more convenient for our guests to park... More

This family-owned, 12 room place offers a perfect perspective of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The hotel main rooms are many steps down from the main road, insulating the place from road noise, but there are those steps. Uncertain of my wife's comfort with the steps, the staff booked us in the highest (closest) room. When they found out we had gluten... More

I found this little hotel on Tripadvisor---and SO GLAD! It was even more lovely than it looks in their photos. We were totally wowed. We were greeted by the staff like we were family. They showed us to our room which was on the lowest level, nearest to the water. The rooms are all really big and light. We had... More
