We stayed in Villa Maria for a week in July for our wedding, along with my parents, my brother and his girlfriend and my grandmother. We had the best time and will certainly be back to Ravello. We stayed at villa Maria for just over a week and couldn't really fault it. The staff were generally polite and helpful and... More

My best friend and I did 2 days of cooking with Chef Vincenzo at Villa Maria. They have relocated the cooking school to the organic garden at Villa Maria where they have turned a century old house into a country kitchen, dining room, and pantry. This was an amazing couple of days. There is nothing like walking into the garden... More

We had one of our favorite days in all of Italy at the Villa Maria Cooking School. Chef Vincenzo was knowledgeable, charismatic, and a wonderful host. Even my husband (who does NOT cook at home) had a great time. The menu was simple enough for the students to prepare everything, yet so delicious!! Also, the ingredients were incredibly fresh and... My husband and I were in Ravello last month and went for a meal upon a recommendation. As I am gluten free I did not know what to expect. They had a Coeliac menu and it was perfect and the sweets were to die for. The UK could learn from them. Angelo put the menu together and he was just... More

This place has beautiful views of the valley and sea. The restaurant is wonderful, food is amazing. They have their own organic gardens. Get the Amalfi Spritzer...it's a great drink to relax and overlook the mountainside. The common areas are nicely appointed and great for relaxing. Breakfast is good and you and order your eggs as you want them. Breakfast... More

We chose Villa Maria to experience Ravello itself, and it was the right decision for our wedding anniversary stay in Amalfi coast. Beautiful rooms. Breathtaking views. Wonderful hotel staff. Hotel parking was a huge plus. Ravello is busy with tourists during the day, but the town itself becomes quiet and slows down in the evening. The hotel dining room is... More

Though we did not stay here, we took the cooking class in the garden with Vincenzo. It was amazing what we learned, and we have used the recipes at home. It was one of the best days in Ravello. You certainly get to know people when you cook with them and share food! We would love to return and further... More

We stayed at the Villa Maria for our honeymoon in 1993. For our 20th wedding anniversary we went back. Two children and 20 years later. It was perfect! Exactly as we remembered, attentive staff, beautiful food and, of course a view to die for. Would not hesitate booking to go back again (although not waiting another 20 years!)......

The staff at Villa Maria could not have made us more welcome. Ravello is beautiful, and the hotel offers fabulous hospitality, outstanding cuisine, stunning views, and a helpful and friendly answer to every question we had. We also did the Cooking Course with Vincenzo, which was superb. We did a lot of walking, which is a particular feature of this... More

We had reserved a superior room for its views, which were excellent. It's a shame that there is no balcony. The breakfast terrace overlooks the valley. Beautiful. Housekeeping was a little careless and had somehow knocked my adaptor off the socket and destroyed the 2-pin plug. Lunch comprising pizza, caprese and fried zucchini flowers - served very quickly but quality... More

Very happy to find out the clients enjoyed their room and view of our Hotel and Restaurant. The room the clients had, is situated in the annex of the hotel, which is more exposed to the view over the sea and the room is without terrace, but with large windows and, obviously, with sea view. We are very surprised to... More
