I thought this hotel was way over rated and expensive for what it was. We have never stayed in such a small room. The rooms were very nice, and breakfast was outstanding. The hotel also owns a four-star restaurant nearby at which we had a fabulous dinner. This was one of the best hotels we experienced on Sicily. Very original hotel with rooms in caves, modern and simple furniture. Very good location in the city. Good breakfast, amazing restaurant in the city (excellent food and romantic tables in a street). CANNOT say enough about this place. Unbelievably cool rooms! (I must say I do think we stayed in a suite, though) Actually had a second level w/ a jacuzzi! And their are two FANTASTIC restaurants in this city, one of which is associated with the hotel. The other is Il Duomo. Michelin star rated. This was a VERY romantic getaway.... more
