This is a typical Best Western hotel: Nothing fancy, nothing out of the ordinary, just an okay place to stay if you don't want any fuss and doesn't care about luxury. I can't really say much about this hotel as I found it quite neutral. It was quite recently renovated and the rooms were okay, the staff was friendly and... more

This a Best Western affiliate. We were part of a tour of Sicily and this was the hotel pre-selected for us. A good choice, for our brief stay this hotel was very comfortable, room excellent and breakfast very generous. Recommended. more

A modern looking hotel with tiny, tiny rooms and one very, very slow tiny elevator (imagine what it was like when our tour of 45 checked in). The room appeared clean until I looked under the bed and under and around the TV set and found a thick layer of dust (we were looking for my wife’s wedding ring which... more

Walk - in price VERY high compared to pre-book price. Did throw in garage but we paid about 50% more than other reviews noted. Good quality, definitely non-Sicilian in character if that's what you want. Very good staff. Decent Western-style breakfast, but coffee definitely sub-par. The reviewer that said to walk had a different experience. Ibla entrance exactly 3 km... more

Good: clean, like most of the Italian hotels. Didn't have problem with heating like another reviewer. Bad: *foam mattress; tiny rooms. **Really unfriendly front desk people, who barely answer the question to get rid of you. ***Hotel people calling our room at 6 a.m. to ask us where is our car key when in fact we deposited the key with... more

Spent a nite, beginning of March. Nice experience, the hotel staff stresses a lot the fact they're now part of Best Western group: I'm not a fan of these big chains, but I have to say I had nothing to complain about during my stay. Nice rooms, good beds, services ok and reception useful in several occasions. If you're looking... more

If one doesn't have to stay in Ibla (the old town area), then I can totally recommend the Mediterraneo Palace. Our triple room is spacious, and its decor looks exactly like those official hotel photos. Clean and modern. There's also a Lavazza BLUE coffee maker in room. Excellent. Front desk staff was very helpful in explaining our walk to Ibla,... more

When we arrived at Ragusa, we asked two locals for directions to the hotel where had decided to stay. Both of them sent us to the Mediterraneo instead ("it's really better") so we finally gave in and went there. We enjoyed our time there a lot. It's location is perfect if you want to do trips with your own car... more

The rooms were large, the beds were comfortable, the level of service offered was fine, and the bathrooms were large, clean and modern. In addition, the food offered at the breakfast buffet ranged from fresh fruit to eggs, sausages and bacon. Although the hotel is right in the centre of Ragusa, the rooms were very quiet. (We had two rooms... more

We were vacationing with another couple in Terrasini, Sicily (a few miles W of Palermo) in a private villa. We decided to drive South, to see Agrigento (stunning!), and to Ragusa for overnight. It was early November, and had turned chilly and wet in Terrassini, so we were looking forward to sun and warmth. We booked the Hotel Med by... more
