When i went to this place, i felt like i was visiting a Museum. All the furnitures are antique and the way the manage to keep it new or restore it, is awesome. i saw a book that has more than 600 years and more ancient things. The owners insisted on keeping the old style and it's a great idea.... More

We stayed for four days in December and could have stayed for ever. This is a unique place to stay, and we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. Its location is perfect to visit the baroque towns in the neighbourhood or to enjoy the great chefs in Ragusa. Staff has been very friendly and helpful, breakfast is... More

We are a well travelled family with 2 teenage kids; stayed in the hotel in December 2015 and concluded that this is one of the best in the world! Beautiful hotel, great chef with fantastic dinner and the best breakfast choice in Italy and a very personal service. Thank you to all staff!

So glad we had decided to stay in this wonderful grand-yet-homely place for 5 nights. Could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home, nothing too much trouble but also left to it, not overly fussed over. Staff were delightful and informative. Marco, Lorenzo and Margherita at reception were super-friendly and helpful.... More

What an absolute delight! The hospitality of the staff, the beautiful monastery and the welcome from the resident kitties and dog make this a warm and inviting stay. ( The kitties are outside so don't worry if you are allergic). Prosecco awaits you upon arrival along with a tour of the property and its history. We did enjoy dinner ,... More

At the moment of our arrival we received a warm welcome from front desk, waiting for us outside our car (didn't allow us to touch any luggage) and then inside the hotel we received a full glass of chilled prosecco (extremely good). Front desk agents were extremely nice and gave us plenty of recommendations and booked restaurant for us. We... More

We stayed at the Eremo for three nights and with each night we liked the hotel more and more. The entry to the lobby is a charm attack all in itself - in this Knights of Malta connected location it features a suit of armor along with antique decorations from the area. The former monastery has been lovingly converted into... More

We stayed one night in this lovely little hotel. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast in the beautiful dining room is really nice. The service is excellent and we loved the local almond milk we were presented with upon arrival. The only issue we had, which could be a big one of you stay longer than a night, is that... More

This hotel is outstanding. A former monastery, Knights of Malta facility is well designed and a beautiful place to stay. The staff is so good that it is scary. We had lunch and dinner and the food is well worth the price. Their local Nero d Avola wine is a gem. Do not miss staying here.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic service and character. We had a lovely suite with great views. It is a 20 minute drive to town for dinner or touring. My only improvement would be for them to upgrade the bathrooms a bit with true showers rather than mounted hand sprayers and thicker towels. Otherwise a beautiful stay.
