Ich hatte eine großartige Zeit in Ragusa Ibla und einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Giardino di Pietra. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend schön! Ich habe mich wie zuhause gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank! To Elena, thanks for all the inspiring tips you gave to me. And by the way: I really trained hard to manage the narrow streets! Now I think... More

We are 3 couples who spent a night in this absolutely charming and quaint B&B which has been in the family for many generations. Elena and her husband made us all very welcome and local information was very helpful. Breakfast on the terrace a real delight with the view. Breakfast consisted of home made jams so delicious, cheese, olives, home... More

This is a gem in Ragusa Ibla. It's just off the main road between Ragusa Superiore and Ibla, perfect for exploring either town on foot. The rooms are large and beautiful, an incredible breakfast with all kinds of homemade items, a warm and generous hostess, Giuseppina, who along with her son provided all the needed information and help we needed.... Thank you very much for your kind words! Nowadays we are renovating the rooms and the bathroom of course... From February our guests will find larger showers in each bath and each room with is theme due to the furniture: vintage, art nouveau and '800 century. Have a nice 2015, Elena More

We had stayed in this absolutely beautiful little hotel in May 2014 and it is gorgeous. The ceiling in our room was originally painted in the 1850's, (see photo) The owners daughter speaks perfect English and was very helpful with where to spend our days. They even brought us into there living room and showed us around. Parking is a... More

A special place that's great for exploring everything in and around Ragusa. The host, Giuseppina made us feel very very welcome. Her warmth together with the great breakfast -don't forget to try the homemade lemon jam!- made us sad to leave again after 3 nights. The house, a small palace really, is amazing and transports your back to the 1800s... More

It's hard to write a review of this superb B&B without running out of superlatives. Firstly, the house is a traditional baroque villa tucked in amongst Ibla's tight narrow streets. It's hard to find by car & even harder to negotiate - we hired a Fiat 500 & almost got stuck between parked cars & seemingly impossible turns into streets... More

As often the case when arriving in these small towns, our GPS was useless and one panics but the extremely sweet Giuseppe came to get us and led us to his family's palazzo. The location is excellent, a 5 minute walk from the magnificent Duomo. Our room was huge and comfortable with a beautiful painted ceiling and two small balconies.... More

This is an excellent B&B. Our room was spacious and cool. Bathroom a bit small but who cares. The breakfast is worth the trip. Omelets, home-made jams and marmelades, fresh coffee. A true feast, Especially compared to some other italian "breakfast"experiences. The couple who run the B&B are hospitable and helpful with practical things, like parking in the narrow streets... After staying at two fabulous B&B in Palermo and Agrigento, we were excited how Il Giardino di Pietra was like, since we didn't knew much about it. The B&B is a mansion in a tiny street in Ragusa Ibla, full of atmosphere. When walking up the stairs to our room, it was like being in a castle. Our room was... More

The room was impecable and very well located, the breakfast was awsome. The only down was the fact it might not be so easy to park in certain occasions. But we were given permission to park just outside the B&B and everything worked out just fine.
