Overall was good, breakfast was nice, there are not many open air spot in the hotel, it seems everything within four walls. Our room had a small window but overall was a good experience! It is close to ragusa ibla which at the end is the only reason why visiting ragusa

As many others have mentioned, the hotel is a modern conversion of historical buildings and quite charming. There are 2 "suites " in the hotel. Both have lovely baths with an increasingly commonly found glass window separating the bathtub from the bedroom. Not sure the reason for this, as the light from the bathroom illuminates the bedroom if one goes... More

This sympathetically restored palace for Sicilian nobility; there is even gilt and a restored fresco. The palace is on the south side of the upper town, conveniently located for both the high town and historic area. The superior rooms are impressive: ours had elegant double doors and a vaulted stone ceiling 12 ft (4m) high. Luxuriously appointed, very comfortable beds... More

We stayed here last year for 5 nights and had a great stay. Loved the hotel and our room and the staff were very friendly so this year we returned for 2 nights at the end of our break in Sicily. Hotel is still nice but the room we were shown to when we arrived was on the ground floor... More

We were there for 3 nights and it was the best. Great breakfast and the staff went out of their way to give you whatever you needed. It was close to anything you could need in town. The room was very modern and clean nothing could be found that was wrong. I would come back again.

The staff are very friendly and makes the stay so nice. The rooms are modern even to the absence of soap dishes in the shower and sink. Breakfast consisted of mostly a variety of sweet rolls, cheese and some meats. I suggest that the hotel install soap dishes, towel hooks and a clothes line for the distant travelers. We stayed... This is a wonderful charming hotel. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was large and very clean. bed was comfortable and location is such that it is fairly quiet. Breakfast was well presented and tasteful - one could not ask for more in a hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Our room was noisy. You could hear people talk clearly in the corridor and room next to us. There were lots of little flashing lights when you turned off the main light - the alarm, the minibar fridge, the bathroom was very very cramped. We just felt this place felt short of what we would have expected for the price... More

We spent three nights here in room 12 which had the most amazing bathroom - the bath is part built into the bedroom in a glass box! The room was large with a balcony and the most amazingly painted ceiling. This hotel is a gem near the centre of Ragusa. Beautifully restored but very modernistic it has a great atmosphere.... More

This is a beautiful building, lovingly and sympathetically made into a comfortable and modern hotel. I have to particularly commend the staff, and Sofia (?) the head housekeeper, for running such a smooth operation - nothing seems to be too much trouble, and all with a smile. I see that others have made negative comments because there is a serious... More
