We arrived by bus. What a scenic ride from Palermo to Ragusa! From beginning to end our stay at Risveglio Ibleo was memorable. Aldo, our host, was attentive and helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed talking to him. His parents were charming. Our rooms were spacious and well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Aldo's breakfasts - with his homemade yogurt, marmalades, and baked... More

We chose Risveglio Ibleo from the guidebook as we stepped off the bus in Ragusa and it did not disappoint. Lovely rooms in an old palazzo, furnished with period furniture, intriguing selection of books in the bedrooms, lavish breakfast of home-made and local products, and warm hospitality by the owners. Highly recommended.

Incredibly friendly. Vast suite of rooms for the price (65 Euros when we stayed). Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Lots of home-made produce and local specialities. Great central location in old town. Only wished we knew better Italian to talk to the owners since judging by the books on their shelves I'm sure they are very interesting people

Reading some of the reviews below, I wonder if we're talking about the same place. We were meet by the owner, who showed us in to a beautiful house very centrally in Ragusa Ibla. The apartment was spacious and although the furniture was a little outdated, it was nice and clean. The owner was indeed a character, but he was... More

We stayed in this B&B with our 4-year-old daughter for 1 night in March. The host had preheated the apartment so it felt nice and warm. He also gave us a parking pass so we could park right in front of the house. The apartment was spacious, the furniture was old and a bit dusty but only a tiny bit.... More

We visited off-season and stayed in an apartment in the main building. It and the host were delightful. The host had limited English but he made up for it with enthusiasm, a will to be helpful and we did our best with limited Italian. Private parking outside the front door helped. Would definitely recommend.

The room we got was actually a small flat, which is nice (plenty of space, and quiet)... but it is outside (about 5 min foot) the B&B where breakfast is served... It's clean and well located in the center of Ragusa. But what spoiled it all for me was the owner's cockiness. At breakfast, don't you dare put your sunglasses... More

It pays to do your homework. We knew enough to request their larger, book-filled apartment in the main palazzo. What a difference. We loved it for the 5 days of our stay, especially when a heatwave chased us back inside now and again. The cool room, with its cooler fridge contents, was perfect. But not as perfect as the wonderful... More

We checked into a lovely, charming, spacious room in the B&B and were quite happy, but then the innkeeper asked if we would be willing to move to an apartment in the back because a family of four had arrived and our room connected to another to make a suite. It was our decision without any pressure from the innkeeper... More

Stayed here last April for one night. The hosts are a wonderful, very sweet and super friendly elderly couple of locals. The location is ideal, in the old-town center of Ragusa. We had place to park our car, which was really convenient and not a given in the old-town. The couple really is very kind and sweet, helping out as... More
