I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my husband, it was 2 problems: There is a dog kennel vnext to the hotel so the dogs are barking the WHOLE night... and the second thing: it was IMPOSSIBLE to find the hotel, we searched the hotel for hours because our GPS could not find it. Pretty bad start... Nevertheless,... More

I love the Italian countryside, but never feel quite comfortable in those hard beds and dusty furnishings. Casato Licitra is the perfect solution to this dilemma. The property gives you an authentic experience of the Sicilian countryside: cows, horses, sheep, cats -- the works. But the rooms, courtyard, reception area, and restaurant are restored in a very modern and design-savvy... More

We enjoyed every day of our stay :). The location is close to Ragusa city center and other attractions. Also many other interesteing citys nearby to visite. We enjoyed the pool, but did also spend nice days by bthe sea, only 30 minutes drive away.

We enjoyed our stay at Casato Licitra as a pleasant country experience. The staff are very friendly, unfortunately we do not speak Italian although we did ok with the google translator. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet for our stay as it was the off season, I imagine it would be great in the... More

Casato Licitra was an absolutely lovely experience. It was a perfect get away, far from the chaos of Sicilian cities yet close enough to allow you to visit practically anywhere in the south. The staff were extremely helpful and were more than willing to accomodate every request that we had. The food is an experience of its own and the... More

A farm was turned into a 4* star hotel. It is truly unique and you would not expect such a hotel in the Sicilian province. The best of all is the restaurant La Terrazza: let the chef compose the menu for you: original Sicilian dishes, just wonderful. Are the any negative things: it is hard to find, so use the... More

A beautiful family-run hotel in a great location - just 20-30 mins drive to many great locations such as Ragusa Iblea and Ragusa Marina. We drove to Licitra, with our 6 month old baby and dog. It was SO EASY! We had a great room, with a cot for baby, and even a bed for the dog. There was also... More

The staff here made me feel like an important part of their big happy family yet managed to maintain professionalism. They even helped me plan and book my forward trip to Rome which I think was way beyond their job description but they were very happy to help. As a solo female traveler I felt safe. The food was fantastic.... More

Not a place to stay if you want peace and quiet. There are dog kennels attached to the back of Casato Licitra so you hear dogs barking all the time. The bedrooms are very spacious and stylish. However the service is appalling. Toilet rolls were not replaced in the bathroom without having to ask at reception each time. The bath... More

A holiday that we ll never forget..The farmhouse is beautiful with vast outdoor space. Parking our car was secure because it was in the farmhouse drive way behind a locked gate. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Upon arrival at the farmhouse, we received a very warm welcome from the farmhouse staff. The rooms are equipped with all the... More
