This was a perfect place to stay - quiet, very spacious room and bathroom, central air conditioning, lovely hosts, and fantastic breakfasts. I was in Prato for a conference, and the conference rate' at the recommended hotel was 200 Euro per night. We chose this one based on TripAdvsor ratings, paid 50 Euro per night for 2 people, and congratulated... more

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in May and loved it. Hosts were fantastic and very hospitable, even when we arrived very very late, well after midnight. Room was great with a big clean bathroom attached. Breakfast was included and included plenty of options including cereals, toast and fresh pastries as well as juice and coffee, and... more

This is a charming B&B run by Antonella and Mossimo. They were both very helpful and the breakfast was very good. It is ideally situated, being close to the railway station, for day trips to Florence, Lucca etc. It is within walking distance of a good selection of restaurants. more

Let me state the positive first - the cleanliness was above reproach. Mossimo was a great help to us - specially when my sons car got towed the next morning, My daughter in law spoke pretty good French, so they were able to communicate. There were 8 of us travelling together. Our room was a little shoebox with two single,... more

We spent three nights at Borgo al Cornio while my husband attended a meeting at Monash Centre (walking distance). Antonella was absolutely delightful, helpful, and patient with us as our Italian was very limited. Parking for the rental car was just a block away and no extra charge. Our room, "The Poet," #6, was immacculate- a large wardrobe with drawers... more

There is just nothing like the Borgo al Cornio! This was my second stay there and it was as fabulous as I had remembered it to be. Antonella and Massimo are warm and fun hosts, the rooms are lovely (I am partial to #3), the breakfasts are delicious and offer something for everyone, and you cannot beat the price. Prato... more

We stayed at Borgo Al Cornio for 3 weeks. The owners, Antonella & Massimo, are absolutely lovely people who will go out of their way to ensure everything is as it should be. Both Antonella and Massimo were full of helpful information and often suggested places and sites for us to go, as well as giving us helpful tips to... more

5 Minutes from the train station (itself 25 minutes from Florence SM Station), in the heart of the medieval town centre, this lovely family-run B&B was the friendliest, cheapest and highest quality place we stayed. Our fastidiously clean room was well furnished and not too small, and the breakfast (including fresh pastries and home-brewed coffee) was very reasonable. Though the... more

This B&B is actually called the "Borgo al Cornio". Whoever listed the place made a little mistake in the spelling which could be a problem for those of you who are trying to find the website (which incidently is ---). This is a fantastic little place - very welcoming and clean and very close to the main piazza in the... more

Spent four nights here. Almost new, spotless. Family run and as warm hearted as could be. Two blocks from train station, 18 minutes from Florence. Great sights and restaurants right here. more
