My boyfriend and I stayed at Villa Gianlica for 4 nights in August this year and had the most wonderful stay. Our hosts were warm and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay, rooms are spotlessly clean, breakfast offered a great selection and you can't beat the pool area. The area surrounding the b&q was quiet but this was a... More

First of all, the pictures you will see of Villa Gianlica online (although they are amazing) do not do this place justice. Absolutely amazing location that had ocean views for as far as the eye can see. If you decided to stay in Praiano instead of Positano, you are making the right choice. A much quieter, slower town, we were... More

Villa Gianlica is in a perfect location in Praiano. It has a lovely view of the bay, is near the local bus stop and basic shopping. Gianlica is quiet, new boutique like establishment that was built by the owner/operator with very good attention to detail and with a real sense of design. Breakfast is superb and the staff provide a... More

Villa Gianlica is one of those places you come across every now and again if you are very lucky. First, Praiano is a lovely little village in the hills overlooking the Bay of Salerno, between Amalfi and Positano, well away from detritus of those places. The establishment is almost new and quite small (8 units), well-appointed with significant attention to... More

We had the pleasure to stay at this hotel for 4 night in the middle of October. Location: It is located at a small village, called Praiano. The village is much more quite than Amalfi or Positano, which are very close by, but if you want to relax and have a car that is better. There are quite a good... More

Praiano is a charming little town and the people here are lovely. Villa Gianlica is is great place to stay and if I ever comeback to amalfi coast I would Definitely stay here again. After reading many of the excellent reviews I had high expectations but I was not disappointed at all. The place is very modern and clean with... More

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Tonight is our last night at this beautiful oasis.Every day we have awoken to spectacular views from our terrace of Salerno Bay being Criss crossed by every sort of boat.We have enjoyed a delicious breakfast including eggs and a lovely salad for lunch. The bus to "everywhere" leaves from our front door giving us the choice to walk down... More

We took the ferry from Capri where we landed in beautiful Positano......you have got to go to this place by sea as it's unbelievable. We then took a water taxi across to Praiano which only took 10 mins where you can then take the bus or a taxi to the villa. The villa is new with it's own gardens and... More

Small and bespoke, helping us with nice takeaways every evening. Warmly recommended to new parents with small babies transitioning from the world of bespoke holidays in boutique hotels to more family friendly places. Villa Gianlica is a special place to stay, without costing an arm and leg. We enjoyed a room with an incredible terrace overlooking the sea... there were loungers and chairs available to use on the terrace. The bathroom was also special, not only did it have a shower, it had, in addition, something between a jacuzzi bath and a shower..... More
