This was our first destination in Italy. I deliberately wanted to stay out of Positano, as it would be a little slower and more authentic. Tramonto D'Oro was just what we were after. I'm guessing the hotel is run by a family and it definitely has a relaxed and personal feel about it. We loved watching Nonna keeping a close... More

Lovely location, pleasant staff and a nicely located restaurant. We also had reasonable sea view and the pool is a good size. But single elevator very poor and rooms minuscule. Also, after a long day we were lying by the pool to the crash, bang wallop of tables and chairs being set up for the evening. Had we been asked,... More

Stayed at Tramonto D'oro with my wife and two kids for one week. The hotel is Ideally located in Praiano between Positano and Amalfi. so you are close to everything and still avoiding the crowded towns. Pros: the hotel is family managed so complaints are taken seriously and dealt with swiftly. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast, and... More

Away from the craziness of Positano, Tramonto d'Oro in Praiano provides a couple of extra hours of sunlight in the evenings in summer to enjoy the breathtaking views from the balcony in the room or from the restaurant. Staff were warmly welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a lovely family feel, and is a perfect spot to explore the Amalfi... More

Very nice and familiar hotel with a world class view over Positano, the Amalfi coast and Capri in the horizon. Service is very personal, rooms have high standard and the breakfast mirrors the best of italian breakfasts. The hotel resturant is of high quality with local food. A nice, steep walk to the beach where you walk by a small... More

Fantastic Hotel, about 75 mins Drive from Naples. We stayed here for 4 days. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with bookings, taking bags to the room. The maids came during breakfast so we hardly saw them.the room was clean and tidy (some previous reviews said dated). I personally found them basic, but with all the ameneties you would... More

We spent 5 nights in room 63 of this friendly, family run hotel in July 2015. Our first visit to the region, we were welcomed like family from the moment we checked in. We were located on the bottom floor of the hotel in a room that was best described as a little daggy or in the 'traditional style'. It... More

My friends and I spent the night here. The views are just amazing and jaw dropping. Not much to do around the area. Rooms are pretty average nothing spectacular. Wifi is a joke, just doesn't work. It is pricey but for that amazing view I am assuming it is worth it. The bartender by the pool was nice and made... More
