Almost everything about this hotel was perfect. The location is stunning, the views as good as in the photos, the route down lifts to the beach is excellent. We had one of the few rooms without a balcony but the room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly without being obsequious and the breakfasts were excellent.... More

We stayed three nights at the Grand Hotel Tritone. We loved the views - from anywhere in the hotel you get amazing views of the town of Priaino and the sea. Good facilities - a nice pool and bar on a private beach. We found the hotel itself to be a bit tired. While the decor was charming in an... More

The hotel is literally built into the side of a mountain offering spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful; they all speak English and are very attentive. The hotel is an easy walk into Priano, at least during the day. I would not attempt that walk at night which means you have... More

This is a lovely hotel, run by very warm hearted staff. Nothing is too much trouble, from conceirge who parks one's car to the beach attendant. However, the hotel does need a little tlc, new towels and sheets would be welcome, These were always spotless, but a little careworn. Housekeeping was somewhat haphazard, too. The waiters were wonderful and supplied... More

Views from this hotel are incredible. Could not fault any of the staff, waiters all incredibly friendly and helpful at breakfast and the concierge could not do enough for us helping us out with rentals and other information. Where this hotel is a big let down is the rooms. They are a decent size and the showers work well but... More

This property is in a little town just south of Positano. The room was spacious with fabulous view from the patio. The hotel staff was gracious and willing to help. Breakfast was very good and had ample variety. If you do not have a car, getting around would require waiting for a bus outside the hotel. It can take you... More

We loved our hotel stay at the Tritone. We stayed on the last part of our honeymoon. Our room had a balcony that faced the ocean. The rooms were clean and the house keeping did an excellent job keeping it pristine. The best part was the hotels private beach and the restaurant. The food was amazing and if you do... More

After having escaped the warzone north of Naples, we stumbled upon this hotel at 2 in the morning. The location and the design of the place made up for the bad breakfast and the terrible cappuccino that was served in the evening. We never ate there, as the breakfast made clear that the staff was already in end of the... More

My husband and I love this place. It was our second visit, we stayed in a deluxe room and appreciated the extra space both in the room and on the balcony. If you want new and modern, efficient and fast-paced, it's not the place for you. We love the hidden passages, terraces and lookouts, the old-fashioned furniture and fabrics. It's... More

The unique location provides fantastic views, a perfect beach (i.e. a platform on rocks, so you avoid the sandy part), and the clearest sea waters (again, no sand/dust). The architecture would make up a great film setting. Spacious rooms and great balconies. Friendly and very helpful staff, especially the parking guys (yes, a (small!) car is handy. Else get at...
