After having escaped the warzone north of Naples, we stumbled upon this hotel at 2 in the morning. The location and the design of the place made up for the bad breakfast and the terrible cappuccino that was served in the evening. We never ate there, as the breakfast made clear that the staff was already in end of the... More

My husband and I love this place. It was our second visit, we stayed in a deluxe room and appreciated the extra space both in the room and on the balcony. If you want new and modern, efficient and fast-paced, it's not the place for you. We love the hidden passages, terraces and lookouts, the old-fashioned furniture and fabrics. It's... More

The unique location provides fantastic views, a perfect beach (i.e. a platform on rocks, so you avoid the sandy part), and the clearest sea waters (again, no sand/dust). The architecture would make up a great film setting. Spacious rooms and great balconies. Friendly and very helpful staff, especially the parking guys (yes, a (small!) car is handy. Else get at... We spent 4 nights here in Sep, and it was superb! The hotel is old-fashioned but so what? Italy itself is old-fashioned! The maze of rooms and passages is charming and not at all inconvenient once you've found how to get around. Our room had a private balcony and the view is, as everyone else has mentioned, simply amazing. Here's... More

The view is simply breath taking. Our room was beautiful with a full private balcony with our own personal view of "paradise". We stayed for only three nights at the end of a very aggressive 10-day tour of Italy. So this was a peaceful retreat from our hectic travel schedule. Their private beach is a plus, the elevator rides down... More

Location and view of the Hotel is amazing. Private beach is also a big asset in this zone. But the Biggest issue to me is the quality of the rooms, specially the beds and pillows. Very difficult to sleep well and recover. I would say almost impossible. Breakfast is average and please never ask for boat reservation to hotel employees.... More

From the time you arrive to the time you leave you are treated with respect and kindness. The service is amazing the views are spectacular and the rooms are perfect. There is elevator access to the water, a restaurant/bar with plenty of chairs to lay out or go swimming. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and again service was amazing. Enjoy... More

From the time you arrive and leave your car to be parked for you whilst your luggage is carried to your room the service is excellent, polite friendly and charming We were given an upgrade at no extra charge from a standard room (where the shower pressure left something to be desired) to a room with a balcony and an... If you fancy a room with a stunning view, this is the place to go. The view alone is worth 4*! However, here are 3 petty gripes. 1) This hotel is not located in Praiano town. It's about 1.5km or almost 20mins walk away. However, local shuttle bus (pay to driver) between Positano and Praiano makes it easy to head... More

This place has the views everyone dreams of for a vacation spot. The elevation changes are so dramatic! From the street to the beach it drops 525 feet! The hotel is clinging to the cliffs and the sight from the balconies of the rooms, bars and restaurants are enchanting. It is hard to stop taking pictures. To get to the... More
