Although it is a 3 star hotel, I evaluate it as excellent as you get a very good value for the price of the stay. It is located in Praiano, which is a typical South Italy village, close to Positano, where the prices of the hotels are very high. The room was large, the view was great, the breakfast was... More

Hotel Holiday wasn't bad. To be honest, traveling in the amalfi coast makes most sense to stay in positano or amalfi. Praiano is far from both and not walking distance. That was the downside of our vacation here. On the plus side, the bus stop was next to the hotel but hard to get to amalfi from there, not so... More

Our stay at hotel Holiday was great. To be honest, staying in praiano isn't the best bet especially when you're out to visit amalfi or positano... It's pretty Much between the two, but not walking distance at all!! Although the bus stop is right next to the hotel, still would rather stay in positano... Hotel staff helped us with getting... We booked a room with sea view for one night at Hotel Holiday via Expedia three weeks in advance. We arrived to the hotel and were received by a lady who informed us during the check-in process that the hotel is full and that we would not be allowed to change our room. We got suspicious, so we stopped the... More

Dear K-Mattar,thank you for your review. We are very sorry that we could not meet yours aspettative but things did not go in this way.....You chose and booked a triple standard. Upon arrival, placing yourself in a very arrogant, entered debuting: "I want the best room with the best view!" We tried to explain that the room booked was a... More

Praiano is a quiet town between Amalfi and Positano with a good range of hotels to choose from. Hotel Holiday is not top of the tree - more mid range - so you get comfortable beds, clean rooms, simple/easy breakfast and service. Nothing flashy or pretentious. So.... If you are looking for a nice place to stay and you're not... More

Four of us stayed at hotel Holiday for my husband's 60th birthday as a bit of relaxation before returning to Sydney. Perhaps we didn't research enough, but we didn't realise that it had no pool, didn't serve lunch or dinner(it does have a bar) and that there is really not much to see in Praiano. If you are looking for... More

The hotel is located in the middle of Praiano, in a hill with excellent view. We got there on Friday night around 9 pm after a visit to Pompeii, from where we made the reservation and payment with TripAdvisor. We got a good rate, around $100, their rate at their website was around $136. In the front desk we were... More

Although the rooms and the hotel are clean enough and almost all the staff is friendly, the only big problem is the recepcionist named Mariana (owner as well). Apparently she has self-confidence issues, you can't ask her anything because immediately she behaves in an offensive way and she feels like you are against her all the time (please! We are... More

I'll best describe this a hostel since the breakfast and room let it down. I think it is overrated since Praiano is already a lovely quiet area compared to the noise of Amalfi and Positano. There are some good restaurants here in Praiano, and the views will be breathtaking wherever you are. Take heed in choosing this place before you... More

Spent three nights at the Hotel Holiday and it was great. Antonio met us at the bus stop and took us and our bags up the hill to the hotel. Mariana met us at check in and help us with everything we needed to know. She even showed us a couple of rooms to let us choose where we stayed.... More
