First up I have to say, the owners are wonderful and enjoyed their job. Been there for over 30 years! The view from terrace is great and breakfast was basic but not that bad. In saying that, Where to start on the downside?? The location! I was led to believe it was only a few hundred meters from town centre,... More

Dear sirs, private room with private bathroom is not hostel, air conditioning, car parking, all at a very low price, we regret the fact that you have not realized that the night will be paid at the hotel, but everything is very clear , overnight stay at the hotel you pay, it is not free. More

The hike from the beach is intimidating and not for the out of shape, however, you will be rewarded with amazing views, clean rooms, and a family run gem. The price wasn't bad either at 80 euro. When we get back to Italy, we'll be booking this place in advance! Also, close to the Amalfi Coast Bus stop.

I stayed in this B & B for six nights in September 2014. There were 7 in our group, therefore we booked 2 x twin rooms and 1 x triple. The rooms are very basic, but they are clean and quite spacious. Most have balconies with views and air conditioning. They are cleaned daily. Considering all you use your room... More

We chanced upon Villa Verde and loved our stay! So quaint and family-owned! The view is amazing! The breakfast is simple and delicious. The rooms are clean and nice. The price is unbeatable. We are very grateful for such a memorable stay in Positano, our favorite city in Italy. We hope to return one day soon. Also nice restaurants and... More

We have been coming to Villa Verde for many years now and have always felt at home. The view from the terrace and balcony of the mountains and town below simply takes your breath away. Your room is simple but clean and comfortable, most with air conditioning and a nice balcony. There is free wi-fi in the lobby and terrace... More

This was the first hotel in Positano. The hotel is only a few hundred feet from the SITA Bus Stop which is pretty convenient. We arrived late at night after an entire day of traveling. The receptionist was very nice and showed us to our room before arranging our dinner plans. As far as the room goes it is very... More

We had a good stay at Villa Verde. The room was basic, but a good size as was the en suite. The service was pretty good by the owners, although their English wasn't fantastic. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace each morning looking out over the amazing view and the proximity of the hotel to the main hustle and bustle... More

the best feature of this hotel is it's location and good value for money offered. The view from room balconies and breakfast deck are trully stunning - only for that reason it is worth coming! Overall nice stay with very wellcoming staff/owners of the hotel.

Very nice bare bones place. But, did not go to Positano to stay in a room. Bus stop right out front. USE bus. The walk down was a killer for this 51 year old. Rooms 3 and 4 were good, clean, cool, comfortable. Nice view from balcony. Breskfast was as stated in other reviews. Would stay again. But because of... More
